Take a peek at our latest bespoke collaboration with Corey Damen Jenkins for Flower Magazine!
Polished materials, rich chocolate browns, and tailored silhouettes: all key aspects of the "quiet luxury" trend that took over interiors since 2023. However, it seems as if the design and fashion world have moved on from this take on intentional luxury. Everything on the fashion runways will translate to how we design our spaces. S/S 26 showcased this change with bright jewel tones, layered textures and even feathers. As our appetite for visual stimulation grows, interiors continue to fill with a miscellany of individually striking yet harmonious décor and opulence now reframed to be more expressive, more inclusive, even. Someone that perfectly captures this spirit is world-renowned designer (and friend) Corey Damen Jenkins. Pictured below is the study Corey curated for the Flower Magazine Showhouse Nashville, using a custom Rapsody rug. The rug is huge - 16" x 14.8", covering the entire floor with botanical motifs and various shades of blue and earth tones. What I love most about this room (other than our rug, of course) is the ceiling- a warm tartan covered in harnessmaker motifs. Who else can style that but Corey? Every time I look at these photos, I discover a new detail that I fall in love with. That is the beauty of maximalism: each piece is enough on its own, but all together, they become this eclectic mosaic of personality and color. What are your thoughts on maximalism and this new era of intentional luxury? #Feizy #InteriorDesign #FlowerMagazine

Thank you to our part-time product development specialist, Lago! With a keen eye (and paw) for style, Lago has been lending a little extra insight in the showroom, especially when it comes to selecting the best Thom Filicia rugs. Sometimes the best design inspiration comes from our four-legged friends. #FeizyRugs #Interior Design #Dogs

Our Director of Trade Relations, Michael, just finished an inspiring project using one of our rugs for a good cause- proof that great design can make a difference. Read more about it below!
Recently I worked on an incredibly inspiring project that I’d love to share- Linda Baker of Baker Design Group Interior Design partnered with Interior Design Society DFW, Surya, Global Views and Pathways Youth & Family Services, Inc. to design rooms in four different homes for families with foster kids. The team leads included me, Linda Baker, Lori Withey, and Nicole Arnold. I had the honor of working with C’ne Turner, Gabriel Ramos, and Amy Mints on a family’s guest bedroom. You may be thinking- “why the guest bedroom?” This room is the setting for a cherished, nightly ritual: a phone-free zone for connection, reflection, and quality time together. With this knowledge, we designed the space for togetherness, but kept the guest bedroom aspect in mind, placing a sleeper sofa in the space. We incorporated the beautiful machine-made Gaspar in white/gray to tie in the blue accents in the room. We added a ton of storage space for board games, books, and other activities for precious family time together. It was such an honor to create a space that celebrates what matters most- family and presence. Thank you to Linda Baker for inviting us to create together, and a BIG thank you to my fabulous team and all the wonderful work they did! See the photos below for a before and after! #Feizy #InteriorDesign #GivingBack
