  • Walk into most d*spens*ries and the first thing a budtender mentions is the T*H*C percentage. It's the metric guests ask for, so it's the metric we lead with. But it's also one of the least reliable predictors of someone's experience. Terpenes, consumption method, tolerance, and setting all matter more. The d*spens*ries winning on education - the ones guests trust and return to - are the ones that teach people how to stop chasing a number. That's a different kind of training. We've been doing it for eight years. Are your budtenders leading with T*H*C% percentage What do you lead with instead? Nothing for sale. • It's rarely the product. It's rarely the location. It's almost always one of three things: a team that wasn't built to last, a brand that never gave people a reason to come back, or a promotion strategy that trained guests to wait for discounts instead of building real loyalty. We've watched it happen in market after market. And we've spent eight years building the playbook to prevent it. What's the hardest part of year two for you? Summer is here, and while we love the warm weather, your c@nnabis doesn't. Heat, light, and humidity can all degrade the quality of your products. The good news? Keeping your c@nnabis fresh is easier than you think. Keep It Cool and Dark Store your c@nnabis in a cool, dark place away from windows and direct sunlight. Heat breaks down cannabinoids and terpenes, which means your products lose potency and flavor over time. The coolest room in your house works best. A drawer, cabinet, or closet away from heat sources is ideal.   Never Leave Products in Your Car This one's important. Even a few minutes in a hot car can damage c@nnabis products, especially edibles and concentrates. If you're running errands, make the dispensary your last stop or bring a cooler along. Use Airtight Containers Exposure to air can dry out flower and affect product quality. Keep everything in its original packaging, sealed tight. Put the package in an airtight jar or stashbox, then store it somewhere secure and out of reach of children and pets. Don't Refrigerate Flower It might seem like a good idea, but refrigerating flower can actually introduce moisture and lead to mold. Room temperature in a dark spot is your best bet. That said, storing concentrates in the fridge is great for preserving terpenes and flavor. Just make sure to bring the jar up to room temperature before opening to prevent condensation inside the jar. Disclaimer: The information in this email is meant for educational purposes only. • C*nnabis has always been about connection. Connection between people. Between communities. Between a guest and a budtender who actually listens. Feel State was built on that belief - that a d*spens*ry can be more than a place to buy product. That it can be a genuine anchor in its neighborhood. A place people are proud to shop, proud to work, and proud to call theirs. That idea became a brand. Then a model. Then a track record built across 17 d*spens*ries in 8 states - through consulting, brand licensing, and full partnerships with independent operators who share the same values and the same goal: to cultivate connection and community through c*nnabis. Today there are two Feel State locations in Missouri and Ohio and another on the way. And we work with independent operators nationwide who are building the same kind of business we believe in. We're not a chain. We're a community - and a proven operational partner for the people building something real in cann*bis. If that's you, you're in the right place. Follow along, and when you're ready to talk about what building with Feel State looks like, the link is in our bio. Nothing for sale. Medical decisions should not be made based on advertising. • If you've ever wondered whether you're using too much or too little c@nnabis, you're not alone. One of the most common questions we hear is: "How do I know what my right amount is?" The answer isn't the same for everyone, and that's exactly why microdosing matters. What Microdosing Actually Is Microdosing means starting with a very small amount of c@nnabis and gradually adjusting until you find what works for you. It's the best way to discover your personal optimal dose while minimizing the potential of experiencing discomfort like anxiety or feeling "too high." You can always take more, but you can't take less. Microdosing is how you figure out where your "just right" is.   How to Get Started For edibles: Start with 2.5mg THC. Wait 24 hours before consuming again. If you didn't feel much, increase by 1-2mg next time. For inhalation (vapes, flower): Take one 2-5 second inhale, exhale immediately, and wait 10 minutes. If you want more, repeat. For tinctures: Start with a low dose, hold under your tongue for 30-60 seconds, and wait. Adjust gradually at your next session.
