Welcome to Excel University! 🎓 Today, we'll take a bite-sized look at one of our popular fabrication capabilities: Vacuum Forming (AKA Vac-forming or thermoforming). We start by making a tool to use as our guide. Next, we place it on the vac-forming machine and heat up our material. Then, the fun part -- let the suction of the machine pull the material over the tool. To finish, we cut the formed part out of the sheet and refine the edges with CNC machining for that polished look.
