Perimenopause doesn’t happen overnight, and it doesn’t look the same for everyone. For many women, it begins in their 40s (sometimes earlier) and can last several years. During this time, hormone levels fluctuate unpredictably, not in a straight line, which is why symptoms can feel inconsistent or hard to explain. That might look like: Irregular periods Sleep disruptions Mood changes or anxiety Brain fog Hot flashes These changes are part of a natural transition, but they can still impact how you feel day to day. And because hormone levels shift so much during this time, getting clear answers isn’t always straightforward, which is why many women feel overlooked or dismissed. You don’t have to navigate it alone. Understanding what’s happening in your body is the first step. Getting the right support is what makes the difference. At Evernow, we’re here to help you move through this phase with clarity, confidence, and care.

Libido isn’t something that just “disappears” overnight. But during menopause, many women notice a shift, and wonder why. Here’s what’s actually happening, as estrogen and testosterone levels decline, it can affect: - Desire and arousal - Vaginal comfort (including dryness or irritation) - Energy, mood, and sleep All of which play a role in sex drive. And it’s not just physical. Stress, anxiety, body image, and life changes during this stage can also impact how you feel. The important part? Low libido during menopause is common, but it’s not something you have to ignore or push through. There are options: - Hormone therapy to support physical symptoms - Non-hormonal treatments for comfort - Lifestyle and mental health support - Practical tools to reconnect with desire At Evernow, we take a personalized approach, because libido isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither is care. If something feels off, it’s worth understanding why. And more importantly, what you can do about it.

“Midlife” has a branding problem. For a lot of women, it still carries words like:  “over the hill” “slowing down” “becoming invisible” But that narrative doesn’t match reality. For many women, the years between 35 and 65 are some of the most productive, clear-minded, and self-assured. So what’s actually getting in the way? For many, it’s not midlife itself, it’s the experience of perimenopause and menopause. Symptoms like: sleep disruption brain fog anxiety or mood shifts hot flashes …can impact confidence, energy, and even performance at work. And too often, they’re misunderstood, or not talked about at all. It shouldn’t be that way. Midlife isn’t a decline. It’s a transition. And with the right support, it can be a powerful one, marked by clarity, confidence, and a deeper connection to yourself. At Evernow, we’re here to help women navigate this phase with real information, personalized care, and support that actually meets them where they are. Because midlife isn’t the end of something. It’s the start of something more intentional.

There’s been a lot of conversation recently about estrogen patch shortages, but it’s worth stepping back and looking at what this actually signals. At a macro level, this isn’t just a supply issue. It reflects something much more meaningful: more women are seeking care and accessing evidence-based treatment for menopause symptoms. For years, menopause care has been under-discussed and under-treated. Now, with updated clinical guidance and growing awareness, demand for hormone therapy, especially transdermal estrogen, has increased significantly. That’s a positive shift. Estrogen patches, in particular, are an important option for many women. They offer consistent delivery, avoid first-pass metabolism in the liver, and are often well-tolerated. Their growing use is rooted in strong clinical rationale. What we’re seeing now is part of a broader transformation: ✔️ More awareness of menopause as a health priority ✔️ More women exploring treatment options ✔️ More access to evidence-based care But moments like this also highlight that the system is still catching up to demand. Menopause care is evolving, and this increased engagement from women is a sign of progress. The focus now should be on continuing to expand access, education, and high-quality care so that every woman can find the approach that works best for her. At Evernow we offer many optional HRT modalities based on our patients unique needs to help manage symptoms and improve the quality of life during this time of change.

If you’ve been feeling more forgetful, mentally drained, or unable to focus lately, you might be asking: Is this perimenopause… or ADHD? You’re not alone. During perimenopause, shifting hormone levels, especially estrogen, can impact brain function. Many women notice: Brain fog Trouble concentrating Memory lapses Slower processing At the same time, ADHD in women is often underdiagnosed. And for some, perimenopause is when symptoms become more noticeable. So how do you tell the difference? A few patterns to look for: Timing: Did symptoms start recently alongside cycle changes, sleep issues, or hot flashes? History: Have focus and organization always been a challenge? Consistency: Are symptoms new and fluctuating, or lifelong and persistent? The reality is, it can be both. Hormonal changes can amplify underlying ADHD, or create symptoms that feel very similar. Either way, struggling with focus, memory, or mental clarity isn’t something you have to just push through. With the right support, whether that’s lifestyle changes, hormone therapy, or ADHD-specific care, things can improve. At Evernow, we help women understand what’s happening in their bodies so they can take the next step with clarity and confidence.

Menopause is often framed as a physical transition, but it can also have a profound impact on mental health. A recent poll from the Royal College of Psychiatrists found that three in four women are unaware that menopause can trigger mental health conditions such as anxiety or depression. That lack of awareness matters. Because hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can significantly affect brain chemistry, influencing mood, sleep, memory, and emotional wellbeing. For many women, symptoms like anxiety, depression, brain fog, irritability, and difficulty concentrating can appear during this stage of life. Yet these experiences are often misdiagnosed, minimized, or attributed solely to stress or aging, rather than recognized as part of the menopause transition. The result? Many women spend years searching for answers, or struggling without the right support. Menopause is not just a reproductive milestone. It’s a whole-body transition that includes the brain. When women understand what’s happening in their bodies, they’re better equipped to seek the support they need and deserve. Platforms like Evernow are helping close this gap by connecting women with menopause-trained clinicians, personalized HRT options when appropriate, and evidence-based guidance so women can better support both their physical and mental health during this transition. https://lnkd.in/e4N8p4GR

Menopause is often discussed as a health issue. But it’s also an economic issue. Research increasingly shows that menopause symptoms can significantly affect workplace productivity, job satisfaction, and career trajectories for millions of women during midlife. A recent Stanford study found that menopause is linked to measurable changes in women’s earnings and employment patterns. The researchers estimate that menopause symptoms contribute to billions of dollars in lost earnings each year, as some women reduce working hours, step back from leadership tracks, or leave the workforce entirely. At the same time, stigma continues to shape how menopause is discussed at work. New global research found that 65% of women report negative psychological impacts related to menopause stigma, including embarrassment, lack of support, and hesitation to discuss symptoms in professional environments. Despite these realities, most workplaces still have no menopause policies, benefits, or education programs in place. And yet midlife women represent one of the fastest-growing and most experienced segments of the workforce. Supporting them isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s a strategic opportunity for organizations that want to retain talent, support leadership pipelines, and build inclusive workplaces. Menopause support can include education, access to evidence-based care, flexible policies, and simply creating space for open conversations. We believe advancing menopause care is not only about improving health outcomes, it’s about helping women continue to thrive in every stage of life, including their careers. Because supporting midlife women at work isn’t just good healthcare. It’s good leadership. Solutions like Evernow are helping close this gap by providing women with access to menopause-trained clinicians, personalized hormone therapy when appropriate, and evidence-based education that many patients still struggle to find. This week is Brain Awareness Week (March 10–16),  a global campaign dedicated to advancing public understanding of brain science and the importance of brain health. It’s also an important moment to highlight a topic that has long been overlooked: the connection between menopause and brain health. Women represent nearly two-thirds of Alzheimer’s disease cases, and researchers are increasingly studying how hormonal changes during menopause may influence cognition, memory, and long-term brain health. While science continues to evolve, one thing is clear: menopause is not just a reproductive transition, it’s also a neurological one. Brain Awareness Week, led by the Dana Foundation and supported by thousands of organizations around the world, helps shine a light on the power of neuroscience and why understanding the brain matters for everyone. We believe conversations about menopause should include the brain as much as the body. Expanding awareness is a critical step toward improving research, care, and outcomes for women everywhere. Better understanding the brain is an essential part of improving women’s health. #BrainAwarenessWeek #BrainHealth #WomensHealth #MenopauseResearch #Neuroscience

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day,  a moment to recognize the achievements of women across every field while continuing the work toward a more equitable future. First observed in 1911, International Women’s Day grew out of early labor movements advocating for women’s rights and opportunities. More than a century later, the progress is meaningful, but the work is far from finished. Today, women around the world still hold only 64% of the legal rights that men do globally, highlighting the urgent need for continued action and advocacy.  The 2026 UN theme, “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls,” calls for closing legal gaps, strengthening protections, and ensuring equal opportunities everywhere. At Evernow, we believe advancing women’s health is a critical part of advancing gender equity. When women have access to informed, evidence-based healthcare, they have the power to thrive in every aspect of life. Today we celebrate the women who lead, innovate, care, advocate, and inspire, and we recommit to building a future where every woman has the rights, care, and support she deserves. Because advancing women’s rights also means advancing women’s health. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2026 #WomensHealth #GenderEquality #RightsJusticeAction
