  • Caleb Andrews our National Trainer on what he has learned from teaching our Epoxy Training Classes

Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting over a thousand contractors across the country in my training classes. While each class is full of different people, there are some similarities that seem to stay the same. Here are a few things these experiences have taught me: 1. Contractors are problem-solvers at heart. Whether it’s coatings, flooring, concrete or any other trade, the best solutions always come from people who solve problems, not salesmen. 2. People learn best by doing. I’ve learned that the most effective training environments are the ones where people can ask questions, try things, make mistakes, and get immediate feedback with no judgment attached. 3. The industry is full of good people. Contractors support each other more than they compete. I’ve seen countless examples of people sharing tips, contacts, and lessons learned to help the next person succeed. I’m grateful for everyone who has taken the time to show up, learn, and push themselves. If you’ve been in one of my classes, thank you. If we haven’t met yet, I hope we will soon.
