We’ve been busy connecting with industry partners through recent Envirotactics Lunch & Learn sessions 🍽️📚 Last week, we had the opportunity to visit GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. –, an engineering firm specializing in the innovative design and construction of transportation infrastructure and building projects. Our team presented a Lunch & Learn at GPI’s Morris Plains office, highlighting due diligence services and our geotechnical capabilities, and enjoyed great discussion with their team. We also spent time at TPD (Traffic Planning and Design) headquarters in Pottstown, PA, where we shared an overview of our environmental and geotechnical services with five of their internal teams, including: • Professional Engineers • Drainage Design • Local Government • Multimodal Transportation • Project Managers Thank you to both GPI and TPD for the engaging conversations and collaboration. 🚨 NJ Adopts Updated State Development & Redevelopment Plan 🚨 New Jersey has officially adopted its first updated State Development and Redevelopment Plan since 2001, establishing a modern framework to guide growth, redevelopment, and environmental protection across the state. The Plan emphasizes smart growth, infrastructure investment, climate resilience, and environmental justice—bringing greater coordination between state, county, and municipal land-use policies. For Envirotactics’ clients, this creates more consistency and predictability when planning projects, navigating environmental regulations, and advancing development responsibly. 🌿 Professional Update 🌿 We’re excited to celebrate Emilie Snyder, who recently earned her Certified Wildlife Biologist (CWB®) certification! 🎉 After completing her Master’s degree, Emilie gained an additional six years of professional education, field experience, and applied project work to achieve this distinguished credential. Her dedication is a huge accomplishment—especially considering there are only 8 publicly certified Wildlife Biologists in New Jersey, and very few are part of a private environmental consulting firm like Envirotactics. ❄️ Winter Weather Reminder: Stay Safe in the Cold As temperatures continue to drop, it’s important to be mindful of cold-weather risks—especially for crews and teams working outdoors.
