It's an infrastructure problem the industry needs to own. This week, Carolina Wachtmeister, our VP Product for Facility & Energy Management, made that case in Svenska Dagbladet, one of Sweden's leading national newspapers, responding to a national debate on AI readiness in the public sector. Every June, the Danish island of Bornholm hosts Folkemødet, a democratic festival and a Nordic tradition where politicians, citizens, business leaders, and journalists meet in the open, face to face, to debate where society is heading. Among this year's topics, two stood out for us: how AI creates value, and how Europe keeps its digital sovereignty. That is why our CEO, Mikkel Bardram, went to Bornholm to share EG's perspective. He focused on how we get the value of AI out to the businesses and institutions that society depends on, while Europe maintains its sovereignty. Prosperity does not come from one or two large tech giants reaching a high valuation. It comes from competitive companies, and from what we actually build and use the technology for across our industries and communities. That is what EG works toward every day: putting AI to work inside the industry-specific software that businesses and public institutions already rely on, on European terms. Welcome Studentsamskipnaden i Ås to EG Estata! Today we are happy to share that Studentsamskipnaden i Ås (SiÅs) has signed as one of the first customers on EG Estata, our end-to-end platform for professional landlords. SiÅs is the student welfare organisation for NMBU and one of Norway's larger providers of student housing, with more than 2,000 rental units to look after. Running an operation at that scale means handling everything from applications and contracts to daily operations and the tenant experience, often across several disconnected systems. That is the problem EG Estata was built to solve: one platform for the full rental journey, less manual work, and a clearer overview for the people managing the portfolio. For students, this means a simpler housing search, a secure portal for day-to-day matters, and fully digital contracts. For the team at SiÅs, it means more control and more time for the work that actually improves housing. We are proud that an organisation with this breadth and complexity chose to put their trust in EG Estata first.
