It was a real pleasure to be working with Anna Hackett and Focus-Trust again yesterday!⭐️ I was fortunate enough to be joined by Trust and School Leaders, EY Leads and Y1 colleagues, as we explored the Early Excellence EExREC tool. There were such rich discussions and deep reflections about strengthening Transition to Y1. It was brilliant to see Y1 teachers interrogate the EEXREC Supporting Transition to Year 1 data for their new children, raising questions and carefully considering the implications for their curriculum, teaching and provision into the autumn term. It's has been wonderful to be part of the Trust's journey and to see the far reaching impact of our collaboration together. I was really touched by the flowers, gift and kind words...thank you Anna! I'm really looking forward to our onward partnership!🌟 Anna Caulfield Andy Burt Nikki Walters Zena Wilson Michael Rowland

We were delighted to have been Highly Commended in the Outstanding Educational Furniture and Equipment category at the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) Awards 2026. Congratulations to Gratnells, who were announced as the winners, and to Promethean and Promote Your School, who were also nominated for this award. Thank you, BESA, for this nomination and for the recognition - we had a fantastic time at the awards ceremony meeting likeminded individuals and left feeling inspired by the many stories of impact, innovation and dedication we heard throughout the afternoon. We are proud of our 25+ years' experience working alongside schools and nurseries to create learning environments that genuinely support young children, and we're excited to continue enhancing children's experiences for years to come.

Are you looking for a Reception Assessment tool that is meaningful, manageable and genuinely impactful? Then the Complete EExREC Assessment Suite is just what you are looking for! Underpinned by a principled approach to assessment, these tools enable Teachers and Practitioners to spend time with the children in provision, engaging, interacting and building a holistic picture of what the children know and can do in a range of contexts. Drawing on this knowledge, Teachers and Practitioners can then make informed judgements against the developmental EExREC milestone statements, identifying strengths, next steps and crucially each child’s developmental attainment. Real EYFS Teams using these tools have found them invaluable and insightful! ⭐️ Find out more > https://lnkd.in/eaQ9AuXk

Last week the DfE published guidance which sets out how schools should develop an initial inclusion strategy. 🧠 It sets out how schools should plan how they intend to use additional funding provided through their IMF allocation, alongside their core budget allocation (including their notional SEN budget). We will be exploring the implications of this and other DfE related publications at our next Senior Leader Briefing. 📚 Developing an inclusion strategy using the inclusive mainstream fund: https://lnkd.in/eG6X7PpF
