A different perspective from one of our recent site investigations.   As well as carrying out the ground investigation, we captured aerial imagery of the site using our drone, giving a clear overview of site conditions and supporting the wider project. Drone surveys are a great way to gather accurate visual information safely and efficiently, helping to inform planning, reporting and decision-making throughout a project. It's been great to welcome Toby to E3P for work experience this week. Spending time with Emily from our Acoustics team, Toby got hands-on experience supporting a 24-hour noise survey in the Wirral. From unpacking and calibrating the monitoring equipment to setting it up on site and helping identify the dominant noise sources, it was a great opportunity to see what environmental acoustics involves in practice. And it wasn't all work... the day also included a few curious horses who were keen to inspect the equipment before stopping for a well-earned fuss! Thanks to Emily for sharing her knowledge and to Toby for getting stuck in throughout the week. With the warm weather here, we took today's face fit testing session outside onto our decking , a great way to enjoy the fresh air while completing an important health and safety requirement.   A face fit test ensures that tight-fitting respiratory protective equipment (RPE) forms an effective seal against the wearer's face. We’re delighted to share that our Lord Street project has received planning approval. A great afternoon out for the E3P Midlands team at the Property for Kids Charity Boules Tournament! It was fantastic to spend a summer afternoon catching up with industry friends, making new connections and supporting such a worthwhile cause. To top it all off… the team brought home the win! A huge thank you to the organisers and everyone who took part. We always enjoy opportunities like this to network, have a bit of friendly competition and raise money for charities making a real difference. Looking forward to defending our title next year!  

It's great to see one of our Directors, Stephanie Cox, leading the way in supporting the next generation of brownfield professionals. As the Early Careers Sponsor on the executive committee of The Society of Brownfield Risk Assessment (SoBRA) UK, Steph helped to organise and deliver this year's Summer Workshop, kindly hosted by WSP in Birmingham. The workshop brought together early career professionals from across the industry to develop technical knowledge, build confidence and grow their professional networks, all helping to support the future of the brownfield sector. Our drone technology can be used to accurately survey stockpiles, providing reliable volume calculations quickly and safely. By capturing high-resolution aerial data, we can produce accurate measurements without the need for people to access potentially unstable stockpiles, improving both efficiency and safety on site.
