Up at the crack of dawn 🐦 . Me Keri Stocks with my co-founder Chris Carter, building Dozey. We’re on a mission to give parents the support they need for calmer, stress-free bedtimes — and to grow Dozey into the UK’s leading parent-tech app, helping millions of families reclaim their evenings. #StartupLife #AIForGood #UKStartups #ParentingTech #BedtimeStruggles #FamilyWellbeing #ParentLife #EntrepreneurLife #ImpactInvestment

Dozey is a bedtime co-pilot for parents. Helping kids settle with personalised, stories, meditations & games.
About us
Bedtime is one of the hardest parts of parenting. 70% of UK parents say putting their child to bed is stressful (YouGov, 2022). Exhaustion, guilt, and worry creep in when children won’t settle — and the usual tricks (checking under the bed, one more story) often don’t work. That’s why we’re building Dozey — the bedtime co-pilot for parents. Dozey helps children aged 5–9, especially those who find it hard to wind down, feel safe, calm, and ready for sleep. Every session is personalised, emotionally safe, and shaped by clinical input — so parents can trust it as part of their bedtime routine. Created by a parent of a child with ADHD, Dozey was born out of real-life struggle and designed to meet the needs of modern families. Parents can choose themes their child loves — from space to sharks — and Dozey creates guided meditations, body scans, calming stories, and routine support that gently adapts over time. Dozey is more than another kids’ sleep app. It’s a trusted tool that supports co-regulation, builds healthy routines, strengthens parent–child connection, and gives parents the gift of calmer evenings. We’re currently building our prototype and looking for early-stage investment and advisors.

Calling on my network — we’re looking for a brilliant child psychology advisor to join us at Dozey. I’m working on something really close to my heart. Dozey is a new wellbeing app to help children (especially neurodivergent children) wind down at bedtime through personalised meditations, stories and body scans. It’s playful, calming, and designed to support families when evenings are hard. We’re at the early stages and applying for funding, and I’d love to find someone with clinical experience in child psychology, CAMHS, or paediatrics to come on board as an advisor. The ask is light: being named on our grant bid and offering occasional input as we develop the product. If you’re curious about AI, care deeply about child wellbeing, and want to shape a tool that helps kids (and their parents!) get more rest — I’d absolutely love to chat. And if you know someone great, I’d be really grateful if you could share this post with them. If this sounds like you — or someone you know — I’d love to connect.
