  • Dear Tech Demi-Gods, If you were making $400k to $500k building AI that will now replace you. Rendering you forever unemployable...because you only know how to code. Fret not! There is a Dope Coffee franchise waiting for you. Not ready for a franchise? Thats cool. DM us and we'll put you on our coffee-training-waiting list. Where for a fraction of your last bonus, we put you through a coffee boot camp. Yes. That boot camp will look a lot like you working your ass off roasting, brewing, and swearing at beans. However, the only AI that will be around, is whichever one you bring with you. DMs wide open. Come brew with us and stay dope.

#BreakingNews Meta is cutting 20% of its workforce to fund AI. ⁣ Not underperformers. Senior engineers, product leaders, and architects who built the products generating billions in revenue. ⁣ People making $400K, $500K, maybe more. Institutional knowledge. Strong reviews. Felt untouchable. ⁣ They aren't. ⁣ And Meta won't be the last. When one of the largest company in a sector runs this math and it works, every CFO in a tech company opens a spreadsheet and starts running the same numbers. Microsoft. Google. Amazon. Apple. The logic doesn't stay at one company. It spreads. ⁣ Here's what Vinod Sharma and I keep coming back to: most of these people had one income stream. Their W-2. RSUs layered on top. All of it tied to the same employer running the same calculation right now. ⁣ AI doesn't negotiate severance. It doesn't care about your last performance review. ⁣ When the math says AI is cheaper than you, the math wins. ⁣ The people who come out fine won't be the ones with the biggest salaries. They'll be the ones who built wealth that doesn't require anyone else's decision to keep compounding. At BricksFolios | Wealth-Tech for Tech Professionals, that's the only outcome we're building toward with every client with tax-efficient cash-flowing real estate investments. ⁣ Job-optional isn't a lifestyle concept. It's a financial structure. ⁣ Most people in that 20% thought they had more time. They were right about everything except that. #layoffs #financialfreedom #metalayoffs #techlayoffs

  • AI Is the Cheapest Capital Black Founders Have Ever Had For a lot of people, AI represents fear. Fear of job loss. Fear of replacement. Fear of machines doing what humans used to do. But as a founder, I see something different. AI looks like money. Feels like capital. Historically, the biggest barrier for Black entrepreneurs hasn’t been talent or ideas. It has been access. Access to capital. Access to money. Access to expertise that money buys. Access to the infrastructure that venture-backed startups take for granted. When a startup raises a $5 million funding round, they suddenly gain access to an entire machine built around the founder. Strategy consultants. Marketing teams. Research analysts. Designers. Copywriters. Engineers. Pitch deck specialists. A support structure designed to move ideas from concept to execution quickly. Most Black founders never get that machine. We're independent rappers. Forced to become the machine. We learn marketing, storytelling, finance, operations, and strategy because we have to. We build companies while simultaneously learning every discipline required to keep those companies alive. Now AI enters the cypher. For roughly twenty dollars a month, a founder suddenly has access to a force multiplier that compresses knowledge, research, and execution into something accessible. Tasks that used to take days or weeks can now happen in minutes. Ideas can be explored faster. Strategies can be tested faster. Content can be produced faster. AI doesn’t replace me. It amplifies me. It is a subwolfer, attached to my Akai MPC. And that changes the competitive equation. People who never saw me as a competitor start seeing something different... speed, efficiency, and execution. AI closes knowledge gaps that gatekeeping once protected. For Black creatives, this shift is even more significant. Black creatives have always had cultural influence and creative power. What has often been missing is the infrastructure necessary to transform that influence into scalable companies capable of attracting serious investment and institutional support. AI helps bridge that gap. Founders can prototype ideas faster. Produce content faster. Tell their story better. Build operational capacity without waiting for permission, funding rounds, or institutional validation. So while some people ask whether AI will replace them, I see a different future emerging. A future where hustle beats resources. A future where the advantage does not necessarily belong to the biggest company but who spits Agentic-work-flows the best. In that cypher, it isn’t survival of the richest. It is survival of the wittiest... Mike Loyd Jr. Rapper & Founder, Dope Coffee Company

  • Bad Bunny = Dope...AF.

Bad Bunny’s halftime show is much bigger than politics. For those of us who grew up in an era when Latin@s in the US were “less than”, it’s afirmation. Years of hard work, preserving and celebrating our culture, fighting to be recognized as leaders, enjoying food and style that was looked down upon. Wanting more for ourselves and our families…all while fighting against prejudices and outward racism. People can’t ignore it anymore, aquí estamos! There were so many relatable moments but when he wakes up the kid sleeping on the chairs in the middle of a wedding…. We were all that kid and we’ve all seen that moment. Last night brought us all together This was the ultimate celebration of our people as well as a rallying cry of pride, empowerment, and celebration. Puro #orgullolatino

  • Brick by Brick. https://lnkd.in/enU43Dnu

Building a business isn’t just about capital, locations, or infrastructure. It’s also about managing the quiet questions that show up when no one’s watching. How are we going to get this done? Is the plan solid enough? Can we really scale what we’ve built? As we build out our café, those questions pop up from time to time. That’s normal. What’s changed is how quickly they get answered as we’ve spent years putting real structure in place—systems, processes, relationships, and capacity that most people never see. And now, the proof shows up in the cadence. Year over year. Month over month. Season over season. What once felt like uncertainty now feels like momentum. Not because the questions disappear—but because execution keeps winning. There’s a quiet confidence that comes from doing exactly what you said you were going to do. Over and over again. That’s the part people don’t always see...or get to experience. But it’s the part that makes the future you are building possible. Stay dope. ☕ 🖤
