Last week, DOmedia CEO @Mike C. joined thousands of marketers, agencies, publishers, and technology leaders at the world’s biggest stage for advertising: Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in Cannes. This year’s conversations centered around AI, creators, retail media, and where advertising budgets are heading next. One thing was clear throughout the week: real-world media continues to hold an important seat at the table. For those of us in Out-of-Home, that’s exciting. As the platform powering the planning, buying, and selling of OOH campaigns, we’re focused on making billboard and place-based media easier to transact, easier to scale, and easier to integrate into modern media plans. Great conversations, new perspectives, and plenty of reminders that while the tools continue to evolve, the goal remains to help brands connect with people in meaningful ways. Excited to share my featured interview with #DoMedia discussing the future of sailboat advertising, experiential out-of-home media, AI, and attention driven brand storytelling. A big thank you to the #DoMedia team for the opportunity to share more about what we’re building at #PhotoSails. One of the things I shared in the interview is that we’ve created something people have never seen before, and we’re having a lot of fun doing it. Every time our vessels leave the dock, we get to witness firsthand the joy, excitement and emotional connection they create. Through our VIP sailing experiences and public relations programs, we are not just delivering impressions, we are creating memorable real world moments that people genuinely engage with, photograph and share. We also discussed how AI has dramatically accelerated the way I operate, helping compress projects that once took months into days through faster strategy, messaging and content development. As brands continue looking for more experiential and attention driven media opportunities, I believe waterfront advertising offers something incredibly rare within #OOH: a premium environment people actively want to engage with.
