5,000 mortgage brokers. Two days. One campus in Pontiac. Display Group was behind the production from start to finish. UWM LIVE! is the largest mortgage event in the country, and the fifth annual gathering also marked United Wholesale Mortgage's 40th anniversary, which meant the production needed to match the occasion. Our team delivered full event production including custom stage design, main stage presentation design and execution, an expo hall with interactive soft seating lounges and charging stations, and custom fabricated photo ops throughout the space. For years, Display Group has been proud to support one of Detroit's most beloved institutions. This year we stepped up as the Presenting Sponsor of the Pewabic House & Garden Show, June 4-7 at Pewabic Pottery on East Jefferson. Now in its 36th year, the House & Garden Show is Pewabic's biggest fundraiser, supporting over 122 years of ceramic artistry and making in Detroit. Our team provided furniture, custom shelving, faux hedges, and lighting throughout the event space, helping set the scene for a weekend that draws ceramic artists from across North America, thousands of guests, and a community that genuinely cares about keeping this place going. Last night, I had the joy of returning to Pewabic Pottery, and it truly felt like coming home. ❤️ Serving as Interim Executive Director was one of the most meaningful experiences of my career. During my time there, I had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team while helping steward an institution that has been inspiring artists and enriching our community for more than a century. Pewabic is a special place, but what makes it extraordinary are the people. It was wonderful to reconnect with so many members of my Pewabic family, including staff, board members, donors, volunteers, artists, students, and art enthusiasts. Seeing familiar faces and celebrating together reminded me just how much this community means to me. A heartfelt thank you to Aimee Argel and Angie Schmucker, CFRE for joining me for the evening. Your mentorship, encouragement, and friendship over the years have shaped both my personal and professional journey, and I am deeply grateful for you both. With America's 250th anniversary on the horizon, Display Group was proud to serve as a Platinum Sponsor for An Evening of Red, White & Blue, the annual fundraising gala hosted by The War Memorial on the shores of Lake St. Clair in Grosse Pointe Farms. As a patriotic, cultural, and community center for the Detroit area for over 75 years, The War Memorial's gala supports the ongoing restoration of the historic 1910 Alger House. And the people in that room understood what they were there for. Our team provided specialty rentals, AV, and lighting for the evening, supporting live performances, a dinner program, and a live auction in a setting that matched the occasion. Today, the Display Group family has said goodbye to one of our most loved team members, Venti. ❤️ For the past five years, Venti brought energy, comfort, and smiles to everyone who walked through our doors. Whether he was greeting employees in the morning, stopping by meetings for extra attention, or making visitors feel instantly welcome, Venti had a way of making our building feel a little more like home. He wasn’t just the office dog, he was part of the culture, part of the team, and part of countless memories shared inside our walls. We’ll miss the tail wags, the surprise visits, and the joy he brought to our days, but we’re grateful for every moment we had with him. Thank you for being our friend, Venti. Congratulations to Cranbrook Schools on the success of the third annual Window to the World gala, raising more than $1.2 million in support of students, faculty, and campus initiatives.
