We were honoured to be invited to share DimOrder’s startup journey with students from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, School of Communication. 🎓 During the seminar, we shared our experience in building DimOrder as a restaurant fintech startup — from identifying real pain points in the F&B industry, to developing solutions across payments and data-driven solutions. Beyond product and technology, we also discussed the practical realities of entrepreneurship: market validation, fundraising, investor communication, partnership development, overseas expansion, and how startups make decisions under uncertainty. 🚀 It was a pleasure to exchange ideas with the students and hear their perspectives on new media, technology, entrepreneurship, and the future of digital businesses. 💡 Thank you to The Chinese University of Hong Kong for the opportunity. We’re proud to partner with Hang Seng Bank in advancing a new financing model for SMEs in Hong Kong. Through this collaboration, eligible merchants can apply for unsecured financing facilities of up to HKD 4 million per merchant, with customer-consented DimOrder transaction data helping simplify the credit assessment process. For us, this is more than a partnership milestone. It is strong validation of a bigger belief we have held from the beginning: Our goal is to build financial infrastructure for restaurants — connecting operational systems, transaction data and access to capital. 🚀 DimOrder started by helping restaurants digitise ordering and transactions.
