"We moved from production to robotics, in that order, and the order is the whole point." Our Founder and CEO, Aurimas Sabulis, sat down with ROBOTICS BUSINESS NEWS to unpack how Dextall scaled robotic welding to commercial production, and why the real breakthrough wasn't the robot at all. It was collapsing five structural hook variants into one standardized, over engineered design before automation ever entered the picture. The result: 3x the welding speed of manual work, identical weld quality on every panel, and a $210M+ backlog with partners like Turner Construction and SOM who aren't asking "does the robot work?" anymore. Now they're asking how much more scope Dextall can take. Dextall’s DWall 1500 panels have now been installed up to the 11th floor, with final container deliveries in progress and production effectively wrapping.
