Today we announced a major milestone for Avalyn – we reached target enrollment in our large global Phase 2b MIST study in #pulmonaryfibrosis! This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication from so many members of our team & external partners, and I wanted to thank them all…. - THANK YOU to the patients & care partners who joined the study – your trust in us means so much, and you inspire us to wake up every morning and do everything we can to develop better treatment options for this disease. - THANK YOU to our incredible patient advisory council and the patient advocacy groups with whom we work – your voices & your advice were instrumental. Today, we reached a major milestone for our AP01 (inhaled pirfenidone) program! We completed target enrollment in the Phase 2b MIST trial of inhaled pirfenidone (AP01) in progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF). Patients currently in screening remain eligible for enrollment over the coming weeks. Reaching target enrollment ahead of schedule reflects the engagement of patients and investigators around the world, and the continued need for better treatment options for this serious, progressive disease. With MIST now at target enrollment, we expect to report topline 12-month data in the second half of 2027.
