Most conversations about data centers start with power, scale, and speed. They should also start with water, community impact, long-term stewardship, and responsibility. We were proud to host the Sustainable Business Council for a tour of Data Holdings and show that critical digital infrastructure can be built differently. At Data Holdings, sustainability is not something we added later to make the story sound better. It was part of the design from the beginning: ✅ Closed-loop cooling ✅ No municipal water used for cooling ✅ Energy-efficient design ✅ Large urban solar field ✅ LEED Gold facility ✅ 1.28 PUE ✅ 100% uptime since opening As data center demand continues to grow, the industry has a choice. It can continue building in ways that strain local water systems, consume massive amounts of energy, and leave communities questioning who actually benefits. Or it can follow a better model. One where reliability, sustainability, and community responsibility are not competing priorities. Being aligned with Tribal values means thinking beyond the next quarter. It means thinking seven generations ahead. That mindset does not just protect people and the planet. It also makes better financial sense over the long term.
