📣 Introducing Dado AI Assistant. Stop building HR programs by hand like it’s 2012. Dado Assistant helps HR teams get from idea to launch in minutes. You do not need a finished workflow to get started. Start with a conversation. Assistant turns it into an automated program inside Dado, using your actual templates, integrations, and org setup so it works for your team from the start. Think about the programs your team keeps rebuilding from scratch: → Offboarding that changes by role, location, and circumstance. → Internal moves that need IT, HR, payroll, and managers on the same timeline. → Mentorship programs that need to scale beyond spreadsheets. These programs are never just a checklist. There is timing to get right, people to loop in, messages to personalize and send, handoffs to manage, and exceptions to account for when someone starts late or moves teams. Dado Assistant helps you think through what might fall through the cracks, suggests best practices, and turns the conversation into an automated program you can review, tweak, and launch. The gap between we need this and it’s ready to launch just got a lot shorter. Watch the 1-minute launch video. https://lnkd.in/exeZA878 Then book a demo to see what Dado Assistant could build for your team.

People Ops is often asked to improve onboarding without being able to clearly see where onboarding is breaking. That was one of the topics Dado CEO Arielle K. dug into with Anthony Vaughan on The Business of Alignment podcast. Sales onboarding is a clear example. A new rep may be moving through an LMS, CRM, enablement docs, Slack reminders, manager check-ins, and a few spreadsheets. On paper, that looks like one process. In reality, every rep may be getting a different version depending on their manager, the handoffs, and what actually gets reinforced. That matters because People Ops is often expected to improve ramp, create consistency, support managers, and prove impact without a clear view into what is actually happening. A few questions worth asking: → Where are new hires getting stuck before performance drops? → Which manager touchpoints are actually happening? → What are top reps doing differently by week 2, 4, or 6? → How much would it matter if reps got to first deal even a few days faster? → What would change if People Ops had the same kind of behavioral visibility companies already use for customer journeys? As AI becomes a bigger part of people operations, this kind of visibility matters even more. Automating a broken or invisible process does not fix the process. It just makes the gaps harder to see. If you are trying to make onboarding more consistent, measurable, and less dependent on manual follow-up, this episode is worth a listen. https://lnkd.in/edftTAFR

Getting a clear view of your team just got a whole lot faster. Saved Views makes it easy to track key segments of your employee lists using data from your HRIS, ATS, and LMS, plus the custom fields you create right inside Dado. Ditch the endless loop of filtering, copying, and pasting the same employee lists week after week. It's time to let your tech stack handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on your people. Here is why this is a huge win for your daily operations: 💡 Live Sidebar Views: Filter your cohort list once and save it straight to your sidebar for instant access. 💡 Auto-Updating Data: Your pinned lists update automatically the exact second data changes in your underlying systems. 💡 Seamless Collaboration: Easily share a live view with a teammate to keep HR, IT, and managers perfectly aligned with zero lag. No more manual data patches or spreadsheet fixes. Just clean, automated visibility that matches your real-world operations. Your HRIS thinks in databases. You think in people. When your software forces you to do manual workarounds just to group teams or track simple timelines, your automation isn't actually doing its job. 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐬 let you easily re-engineer your data right inside Dado so it supports the exact communications and experiences that make sense for your business. This feature is an absolute game-changer for making your systems work for you, not the other way around. Here is how it simplifies your day-to-day operations: 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬: 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝. ✅ Map states like AZ, CA, and NM to a custom "Southwest" region just once. ✅ Anyone in those states is automatically added going forward. ✅ If an employee relocates, Dado automatically shifts them to their new region so your tasks and automations match perfectly. 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬: 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐡. ✅ Dado automatically calculates milestone timelines, like a new hire's 90-day probation end date. ✅ The system updates this date in the background even if their start date changes. ✅ When the time comes, it fires off a timely reminder straight to their manager exactly when they need to make a decision. No more manual data patches or spreadsheet fixes. Just clean, automated lifecycle workflows that match exactly how your company functions in the real world. 💡 Curious if we can help you tackle your manual workflows? Let's talk. 👇 Click the link in the first comment below to book a demo!

A win for every People team that’s been stuck managing the chaos behind the scenes. Dado is officially an IHRSA26 Finalist in the Onboarding Solution Category! 🏆 What Arielle K. shares below is the real reason this matters. People teams are expected to deliver incredible employee experiences, but they’re often doing it while coordinating across departments, managing last-minute changes, and working in systems that weren’t built for them. The result? Reactive work becomes the default. Dado exists to change that. We help teams move from constantly reacting to building proactive, high-quality experiences. Onboarding is where many teams start with us, but the impact goes much deeper. Read Arielle’s story below 👇
I’m genuinely thrilled to share that Dado is a finalist for the IHRSA26 Onboarding Solution Category! 🏆 I started Dado after realizing something that didn’t sit right with me. People teams don’t have access to the same level of robust tools and systems that other departments do. I could see how this was holding them back from creating the kinds of experiences other teams were delivering, while still being judged on those same outcomes. I saw this pattern again and again. Teams would try their best to create something thoughtful and proactive, but were almost always pulled away to handle manual work and reactive fires that never seemed to end. ⚡ Following up with multiple teams to make sure nothing falls through the cracks 💻 Relying on tools that were built for external use cases, not internal ones 🔄 Reworking plans when something inevitably changes last minute 📊 Being asked to show impact without systems that actually track it That tension between reactive work and proactive experience building is where most People teams end up stuck. The reality is, internal teams have fundamentally different requirements than external teams. They can’t just rely on tools built for marketing or customer workflows. I saw the need for something purpose-built for them. That’s what we’re building with Dado. Onboarding is often where teams start with us, but the impact goes far beyond that. Seeing the shift in an organization when a team is no longer stuck reacting and can actually operate proactively, that is the real win. To our team and our customers, thank you for building this with us. See you at IHRSA! #IHRSA26 #PeopleOperations #Onboarding #FounderLife #EmployeeExperience

The "Standard Onboarding" is a myth. Sometimes it’s not about waiting for a process to finish—it’s about what happens when the plan changes. In the real world, start dates shift, managers get promoted mid-cycle, and contractors transition to full-time. Most platforms treat these changes like a crisis—forcing you to delete the record and start over, or "duct-tape" the communication manually. We believe the system should adapt to the realistic way humans work, not the other way around. When plans change, you shouldn’t have to start over. We’ve enhanced our 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 automation so you can move employees into (or back into) an experience without starting from scratch: ✅ 𝐀 𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞-𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 into an onboarding experience, aligning their timeline with their new start date. ✅ 𝐀𝐧 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧 (perfect for recurring needs like annual certifications). ✅ 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 when milestones are hit, moving someone from general onboarding into a department-specific journey. You don’t have to rebuild or patch things together. The experience can be run again without duplicating a single minute of work. When a new hire’s start date moves at your company, how many manual "fixes" does your team have to perform to keep the experience consistent?

Onboarding should feel like a well-oiled machine, but it usually feels like a game of professional tag. You’re waiting for the background check to clear. You’re waiting for IT to confirm the laptop shipped. You’re waiting for someone to confirm a status so you can finally move forward. In many HR teams, "invisible coordination" takes up a massive chunk of the week. You’re the one constantly checking, following up, and deciding when the next step can happen. We’ve evolved the way Dado handles these dependencies. Instead of you checking 10 tabs, the process moves when the data moves. ✅ 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚: Background check is "Cleared" & Fingerprints are "Received" → the next step kicks off. ✅ 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬: IT equipment is updated to "Shipped" → the tracking message goes out. ✅ 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐞-𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Hiring manager is assigned or changed → onboarding tasks are re-routed. You don’t have to keep checking if things are ready. The system reacts to the data for you. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤: Is your onboarding actually "automated," or is it just a digital checklist that still requires you to be the engine? If you could delete just one manual "follow-up" task from your to-do list forever, what would it be?

Why People Ops becomes the bottleneck by accident. 🚦 No one joins People Ops to slow things down. But it happens quietly: 💻 The laptop that’s still "in transit" on Day 1. 💬 The "Welcome" Slack that never actually got sent. 🧠 The manager who had every intention of reaching out but got pulled into a meeting. Suddenly, everything routes through People Ops. Not because you want control, but because no one else has visibility. 🔍 When the manager doesn't know what is next and IT doesn't know what is urgent, you become the human clearinghouse for every status update. That’s how People Ops becomes the bottleneck by default. The fix isn’t sending more manual reminders; it is using a system that supports you. High-performing teams don't just "try harder." They use a tech stack that embeds ownership directly into the workflow and provides a window for everyone involved. When tasks trigger from data and progress is visible to everyone in real-time, the bottleneck disappears. Not because People Ops is doing less, but because your system is doing more to support the whole team. Shift from operator to architect. Complex onboarding is our thing. 🛠️ Big thanks to Jeannine DeLoche for the shout-out! Most tools tap out the second a workflow gets nuanced, but we built Dado specifically for those "too complicated to automate" moments. We love being recognized for exactly that—handling the high-stakes workflows that usually end up buried in a dozen different spreadsheets because other tech can't keep up. Jeannine’s post gets to the heart of it—tech should make the employee experience feel seamless, not like a digital obstacle course. If you’ve been told your process is too messy for automation to handle, consider the challenge accepted. Check out the link in the comments to see how we do it! 👇
Onboarding is arguably one of the most complex HR processes. It requires seamless coordination across multiple departments, all while trying to make a new hire feel welcome. There are terrific AI tools designed to automate the heavy lifting and keep the human touch where it matters, including Dado, Enboarder, and Kinfolk. Looking for a quick win? Check out Zapier, a popular tool for automating processes that offers a free trial. It’s the easiest way to start automating your notifications without a massive budget. I’ve looked under the hood of these platforms. If you would like a quick overview of which one fits your specific team size or tech stack—just drop me a DM. Next week, I’ll be diving into how AI is changing the game for employee coaching. Stay tuned! #ChiefPeopleOfficer #HumanResources #FutureOfWork #AIinHR #Onboarding
