Dropworks built a digital droplet PCR device called FluxPCR that simplifies workflows for lab technicians and researchers. The middleware connecting their hardware to the user interface had to handle real-time data, remote logging, and secure authentication. That is where Cuttlesoft came in. Eric Beppler, PE Director of Electrical and Software Engineering at Dropworks, puts it simply: "They've become a part of our organization and understand our needs as well as we do." The Python middleware we built sits between the PCR hardware and the UI, managing live data streams during runs.
