The world cup 2026 semi-finals are here – and while all eyes are on the pitch, we're thinking about what these stadiums are really made of. 🏟️ ⚽ Stadiums are engineering marvels. And the polycarbonate sheets that shape their roofs, facades and interiors? They start with the right material. Makrolon® is the foundation that sheet manufacturers build on, enabling the transparency, durability and design flexibility that world-class venues demand. And more sustainability is part of the game too: Makrolon® RE delivers the same proven performance but leaves a smaller carbon footprint. 🌱 The best part? It’s a seamless drop-in solution – shifting away from fossil-based materials has never been easier. ℹ️ Explore more here: https://lnkd.in/e3q26AUj

A cultural hub for the community? Yes. Reduced emissions? Absolutely. 🌍 The Cultuurhuis Stekene demonstrates exactly what is possible when the right partners collaborate. Together with Recticel Insulation België/Belgique, who used our raw material Desmodur® CQ MS in their Eurowall Impact insulation boards, contractor Bouwbedrijf Furnibo and Gemeente Stekene we helped create a space that benefits both the people of Stekene and the climate. It’s time to make more sustainable building the standard, not the exception. 👉 Discover the full story behind the project: https://lnkd.in/eGamUx9D #BetterBuildings

Bringing high-performance materials closer to our customers worldwide! 🚀 We successfully completed the acquisition of two former Vencorex production sites for HDI derivatives in Rayong, Thailand, and Freeport, Texas, USA. These derivatives are essential building blocks for high-performance polyurethane coatings, adhesives, and sealants. As Thomas Roemer (Head of Coatings and Adhesives) and Monique Buch (Chief Commercial Officer) emphasize, this addition to our production network across Europe, Asia, and North America allows us to supply our customers locally with even greater flexibility, supply resilience, and consistent quality. Following our earlier acquisition of the Resins & Functional Materials business from DSM, this latest step underlines our continued commitment to long-term growth in the industry – powering demanding applications from automotive and infrastructure to marine, wood furniture, and electronics. ℹ Read on here: https://lnkd.in/erxvVsG8
