COUPAR welcomes new marketing client Black Mountain Construction. For over thirty years, the company has built finely crafted estates, luxury homes, and tower residences that float above the cityscape. Under the leadership of owner Jeffrey M. Woods ]and his son Grant Woods, they and their dedicated team collaborate with the top architects, interior designers, and engineers on projects in California, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, and New York City. They recently worked on a Pacific Heights estate with Richard Beard Architects and designers Fisher Weisman Brugioni to restore the 1930s home to its original splendor. #clientspotlight Image: Architect, Richard Beard Architects; Designer, Fisher Weisman Brugioni; Photographer, Matthew Millman Learn more about Black Mountain Construction below! https://lnkd.in/gRHvtyCq

As we celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, we acknowledge the contributions of not only early Spanish and Mexican occupations to California's built landscape, but also the influence of Mexican Modernism. One of these proponents was Ricardo Legorreta (1931–2011). COUPAR's marketing client, EJA Lighting Design, Inc. was fortunate to collaborate with Legorreta on a Sonoma ranch where they illuminated a world-class art collection. The architect clustered pavilions around a central courtyard, emphasizing light, color, and the sense of place. How do you get your design projects published? There are numerous Do's and Don'ts in the mercurial world of magazines, so COUPAR broke it down into six key points: Get Permission from Your Client, Invest in Good Photography, Have a Unique Point of View, Have a List of Your Resources Ready, Be Patient, and Utilize Social Media. A bonus seven; Always be Nice to Editors and Writers. #PR #designpublications | Photo: Openhouse Magazine, Smoke Signals Newstand Learn more on the COUPAR Edit below! https://lnkd.in/gZyC4vSQ

Our team is reveling in explorations of our Sacramento Street neighborhood. Recently, we visited Found By Maja an enchanting Aladdin’s Cave of handcrafted treasures—from blown-glass vases to vintage furnishings and artisan accessories. We were captivated by the Aldo Tura Bar Cabinet. The Italian green lacquered goatskin case good, dating from the 1950s or 1960s, features an illuminated and mirrored interior. It’s the perfect backdrop for blue peacock plumage glassware from the Czech Republic. de Gournay Chinoiserie St. Laurent wallpaper and fabric, in a blue-green colorway, featuring elaborate peacocks posed against exotic flowering trees, sets the stage. Thanks for having us!

Photoshoots are time-consuming and expensive, but one of the best investments a designer, architect, or builder can make. Good photography and styling not only showcase the design of a project, but they also help cultivate a cohesive brand presence and build the foundation for a firm's marketing and PR efforts. The images tell the company's story through its website, social media, graphics, ad campaigns, and press wins. Read more about photoshoots on the COUPAR Edit below! #couparconsulting #photoshoots Photo: Designer: Frank K.
