#waterheaters Today we performed the #maintenance on a 60gal electric water heater for one of our long-time customers We #replaced the #anode rod with a Corro-Protec titanium #poweredanode, as well as flush the tank and replaced the T+P relief valve. As you can see, after 6yrs the original factory installed sacrificial magnesium anode rod was still somewhat intact, but drastically degraded. Replacing the sacrificial rod with a powered solution will ensure many more years of service from this water heater, improved #waterquality, drastic reduction in sediment, and all this ensures the homeowner recieves max value from their water heater investment.
