What does #Kenya’s clean cooking revolution look like in practice? During a recent visit to Nairobi, I had the opportunity to visit BURN’s manufacturing facility and see firsthand how innovative clean cooking solutions are improving lives across Kenya. 🔥 Clean cooking is about more than energy. It is about better health outcomes, economic opportunity, environmental sustainability, and creating jobs through local manufacturing. From the factory floor to households across the country, it was inspiring to see how innovation can help address development challenges while creating tangible benefits for communities. IDA-supported investments are helping expand access to cleaner cooking technologies, strengthen local industries, and support Kenya’s transition to a more sustainable energy future.
