About us
Colortech is a North American based manufacturer of color and additive concentrates for the plastics industry. Our products are used in a wide range of products, from everyday household consumer items such as food packaging, toys, diapers, grocery bags, household liquid containers to industrial materials used in telecommunications, such as conduit, wire and cable, extrusion coatings, fiber-based non- woven products and twine. Colortech concentrates & compounds are used in agriculture applications, such as mulch film, greenhouse & nursery films and pipe as well as in environmental systems such as geomembrane sheet. While we carry a range of standard color, additive, white and black concentrates for typical applications, our expertise is in developing custom solutions for customer applications which may be color matching, multifunctional products and/or a specialized additive formulation for any plastics challenge. Colortech is a member of the Polyplast Mueller (PPM) Group of Companies and can serve your needs in North America or Globally. We await your inquiry.

National Safety Month is wrapping up, but staying aware of hazards is something we carry forward every day. Color plays a key role in how we identify dangers, follow instructions, and stay protected, whether on signage, containers, or personal protective equipment. Understanding what each safety color means can help prevent accidents in the workplace and beyond. Swipe through to see how each color communicates risk and supports safe environments. Consistent color is critical when it comes to safety. Learn how our custom color matching, like the PMS standards shown here, supports reliable, repeatable results: https://lnkd.in/du33xWdd

Colortech recently came together to support the Morristown-Hamblen Humane Society. Our team raised $600 and collected four full boxes of supplies for local animals in need. Every contribution makes a meaningful difference and helps create a brighter future for these pets. Thank you for helping us support our four-legged friends!

We’re proud to serve as a 2026 Pacesetter partner with United Way of Hamblen County. It’s an honor to be part of a community that shows up, gives back, and supports local nonprofits making a real impact. Looking forward to the “Rich in Community” campaign kickoff this September! #RichInCommunity
Momentum is building for our 2026 campaign 🌟 We were proud to gather with our Pacesetter partners and local media this week as we begin laying the foundation for a “Rich in Community” campaign. These early leaders are helping us move toward our goal of $1,479,000, which will support 25 local nonprofit agencies in 2027. A special thank you to our 2026 Pacesetter companies— HomeTrust Bank, Colortech Inc., and Lakeway Container—for stepping up early to help set the pace for success. Campaign Chair Jessica Rich shared, “When I think about 'Rich in Community', it's not about what we have, but WHO we have and who gives. It's a reflection on the strength that we have in our community for people who are willing to come together, people who care, people who lead, people who step up making sure that one doesn't have to face tough times alone." This is just the beginning—join us as we continue building toward our official kickoff this September! 📸 Pictured: 2026 Campaign Chair Jessica Rich (HomeTrust Bank) with Sylvia Tharp and Alex Rom-Roginski of Colortech. #RichInCommunity #UnitedWayHamblenCounty #LiveUnited

We are proud to continue our partnership with Meadowview Middle School as students transform recyclable plastic items produced through our color-matching process into outstanding art for our office. It’s always exciting to see how each class reimagines these materials in completely new and creative ways, and we love welcoming students into our plant to explore how it all comes together. With this school year coming to a close, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated teachers and talented students who make this collaboration so special. We wish these eighth-grade students all the best as they begin their high school journey. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
