One of Collectly's most meaningful sponsorships is around the corner. We're once again proud to support the Urgent Care Association's advocacy and its furthering of urgent care medicine & access in the United States. The Collectly team is heading to UCA's The Assembly, where urgent care's leaders and operators gather to shape where the industry goes next. 📅 July 17–19 📍 Washington, DC On Saturday, our own Aaqil Khan, MHA takes the stage to present to the Delegates Council and Strategic Advisory Group. Attendees will meet Billie, our AI voice agent for patient billing, and learn about the Collectly difference. Why it matters for urgent care: walk-in volume is the business model and the financial risk. Patient-pay still drives nearly all bad debt, and the industry takes 30–90+ days to resolve these balances. Collectly closes that gap for 3,000+ facilities, with $1B+ in patient payments processed, and 470,000+ patient billing questions resolved end to end by Billie. If you'll be at The Assembly, or in the DC area -- find us. We'd love to talk patient billing, rev cycle, and what AI agents actually mean in urgent care. #UrgentCare #UCA #UCATheAssembly #PatientBilling #RCM #HealthcareAI

  • When calculating return on investment, most healthcare leaders haven't priced this into their AI solution. If your AI handles 80% of a workflow cleanly and routes the other 20% to staff for manual completion, you haven't cut 80% of costs. Not even close. Some tasks take even longer with partial automation than they do when handled manually end-to-end. Still, vendors tout "efficiency gains." But your board wants P&L impact. More often than not, you're paying for AI and maintaining significant labor capacity to backstop it. This is the quiet letdown of partial automation in revenue cycle. It looks like progress. In reality, it's often marginal lift. Until AI handles a workflow to completion (and covers the majority of exceptions), the economics don't meaningfully change. So, instead of asking "what can you automate?" pivot to "what percent of cases do you automate to completion?" That's the number that reveals true ROI & impact. Full piece below👇

Huge news -- Collectly is now live in Connection Hub on Epic Showroom. 🚀 Here's why this matters for organizations on Epic: Patient responsibility has climbed from ~5% of provider revenue in 2010 to over 20% today. Still, providers lose as much as 60 cents of every patient dollar to cost-to-collect and write-offs. That gap is now often the single biggest source of leakage in the revenue cycle. Collectly's bidirectional Epic integration closes it. Your Epic data stays the single source of truth. The moment a balance posts, Collectly builds a personalized journey for every patient -- across text, email, voice, and mail -- guiding them to portal-free, 2-click payments and flexible payment plans. And for the questions that used to mean a phone call, there's Billie: our AI billing agent, live for Epic customers out of the box. Available 24/7 across chat, text, email, and voice, Billie resolves the majority of billing questions on her own -- 475K+ resolutions and counting. Customers often cut billing support overhead by up to 85%. No rip-and-replace. No redundant systems. No added work for your RCM team. • According to Deloitte, 61% of healthcare executives are already implementing agentic AI or have the budget secured. 85% plan to increase that investment. Boardroom discourse around agentic AI is accelerating from "should we" to "where" and "how?" RCM is an obvious starting line; it's full of exactly the burdensome, repetitive work agentic AI is designed to complete. But finding the tools that drive real impact has been challenging. Here's a quick test for agentic AI to identify real ROI: Where does the AI need a human? Real agentic AI doesn't ask you to initiate and validate each task. It sequences the whole workflow and pulls a human in only at the high-stakes decision points you choose. That single distinction is why some RCM teams struggle to demonstrate impact, while others are transforming how work gets done. We pulled the research (Deloitte, Bain & Company, American Hospital Association and more) into one read, so you can get a real pulse on where your peers stand with agentic AI in RCM. • Patient accounts have some of most challenging unit economics in RCM. Smaller balances, more touches, lower yield per dollar chased. But patients as "payers" aren't adversarial. Just confused. Still, without better systems, educating them requires huge, manual effort. So when deciding where to spend the next hour of labor, the team easily chooses insurance A/R. The patient bucket ages, compounds, and (all too frequently) rolls to write-off. Why? Every patient is different. Language barriers. Family billing. No permanent address. Meeting all needs has always costed too much, and taken too long. This is why so many of us consider it a fixed cost of doing business. One VP of Revenue Cycle was tired of baking the leakage into assumptions year after year. Six months after deploying Collectly, patient cash was up 180% with no added headcount. A huge leap forward. But, considering the landscape, one that makes sense. #Collectly #RCM #PatientBilling #HealthcareFinance

  • Urgent care is only as good as the connections between its parts. On May 19, we're showing what happens when those parts actually talk to each other. Collectly is showcasing at "Clinic of Tomorrow" — a one-day pop-up where you'll walk a fully connected urgent care journey end to end: intake, clinical care, prescription fulfillment, and billing, all flowing as one experience. We're doing it alongside Experity, Amazon Pharmacy, and Flip — and you'll get time with the teams behind each piece, plus urgent care peers working through the same fragmentation in their own clinics. 📍 The Rooftop at The Graham Georgetown, Washington, DC 📅 Tuesday, May 19 | Experiences 9 AM – 4 PM 🥂 Food and drinks provided Spots are extremely limited. • Many RCM software implementations follow this arc: big promise, slow rollout, eventual regret. IT lift. Change management. Lack of vendor resources. Back to status quo. The CFO of a multi-site ambulatory group put it plainly: Collectly was their only successful RCM software launch this year. Not the smoothest. Not the fastest. The only one that actually resulted in positive impact. Our customers' success is our success. We're proud to deliver on our promises. Check the comments to see how we do it. #HealthTech #RCM #HealthcareSoftware #Collectly #CustomerSuccess

  • Days in A/R creeping up. Denial patterns you can't aggregate across facilities. Patient statements going out 30 days post-adjudication -- to a portal nobody logs into. These aren't operational failures. They're architectural ones. And the result is revenue leakage you can't fix with more staff. 5 structural gaps EHR-only billing leaves open -- and what dedicated RCM platforms are built to close👇 #RCM #PatientBilling #HealthcareRCM #RevenueLeakage #HealthTech
