OPEN LOFT DAY — Friday, 10 July Some days it's not a desk you're after. It's a room where your uncertainty makes sense to someone else too, where the idea you almost didn't share gets a nod instead of a blank stare. That's basically what Friday is for. We're opening cocreation.loft from 9 to 5. Not just a place to sit with your laptop. More like a room full of people quietly (or loudly) figuring things out, right next to each other. Sometimes you end up building something together without even planning to. There's a desk waiting, quiet corner if you need to focus, the social table if you're more in the mood for company. Coffee and tea are on us, and honestly, some of the best conversations here happen over a cup that's gone cold because you got too into talking. Come alone, come with your half-finished idea, come because you're tired of working in a room by yourself. Doesn't matter if you're self-employed or part of a team, there's a spot for you. Spots are limited, so grab yours via Luma (link's in the comments). Would genuinely love to see you there Friday. #berlin #cocreationloft #coworking
About us
The cocreation.loft is a community of people who have come together under a common thread. We come from various disciplines and backgrounds and strive to make the world a more sustainable and aware place through our projects and initiatives. Amongst us we have social entrepreneurs, change makers, leadership coaches, somatic practicioners, sustainability and creative consultants. Each member forms an integral part of our community and takes part in bringing our network to life. We are the cocreation.collective. Together we explore new perspectives and work together for the conscious development of individuals, business, and society. We believe that effective outer change must start from within. That’s why we’re more than an association, we support each other and our clients on their individual journeys. And we share a home, the beautiful cocreation.loft. In Berlin, we are your go-to partner for co-creating a more conscious and sustainable future. We offer a strong network and pool of resources that can be leveraged depending on your initiatives.

Do we make sense, or reveal it? This question came to me during the AI & Human Agency event that Robin Hotz, Johanna Schuck, and myself held this past Tuesday at the cocreation.loft. We held the event to give people a space to tune into their own relationship to the emerging technology and its implications for the future of humanity. But we also wanted to give people a space to see how others were relating to the technology, and what that revealed about our collective values, needs, and hopes. We often talk about "sense-making" in leadership and facilitation circles, but I think that implies that there's something to be created in understanding reality that wasn't there before. I think that a more clear perception of reality, or what I call wisdom, is revealed instead of made. We already have an innate way of knowing what is true for us. We just need space to reveal our individual and collective wisdom underneath the noise of our stressors, pressures, and fears. That is what it felt like happened on Tuesday. There was more space, less noise, and more calm for people to connect and sense into truth together. Then, walk away empowered to relate to AI and other aspects of human life with a sense of agency. I deeply appreciate everyone who came and participated, and am especially grateful to my co-hosts and co-creators for bringing their gifts and wisdom into the conversation. If this type of human-centered conversation is interesting to you, we hold events like this all the time at the Loft. Our Luma profile page is in the comment section if you'd like to follow us and learn when the next events are coming up. Love, JJ

Two days ago, we did something unusual at a Tuesday evening event. We started by doing it all wrong. On purpose. Bad listening. Interrupting. Performing. It made everyone laugh. And somehow, that laughter cracked something open. What followed was unexpected. People stopped performing. Cheeks got rosy. The room got quieter. Not empty quiet, but full quiet. The kind where you sense something is shifting, and you don't want to break it. By the end, we were sharing what you only share when you feel truly received. There were hugs. Nobody rushed to leave. We had created something together. A space that was gentle, tender, soft. These qualities were soo present we could name them out loud. When we did, everyone nodded. There was a shared desire: to stay there. A little longer. This is what pulls me into my work. Not because I have a method. Because I've seen what becomes possible when people stop needing to be strong with each other. I am truly grateful to everyone who came on this - a little too short :-) - journey on a Tuesday evening at cocreation.loft. Especially to Kanika, for designing and facilitating this with me. You have a beautiful and inspiring way of showing up. Thank you Juliane, Li-hsien, Bettina for building and guiding the L&D Shakers: Berlin Local Hub, a community of people who are close to my heart by now. And thank you to everyone who showed up in this gentle space 💜

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 — 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹, 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲? This question sat at the heart of our recent salon evening which I co-hosted together with Sabine Koppe at the cocreation.loft 🫧 Together, we explored how care shapes the way we work, collaborate, and relate — and where it quietly disappears beneath pressure, speed, and productivity. Through stories, reflection, and collective inquiry, we explored care not as something “soft” or secondary, but as a foundation for human coexistence, resilient communities, and life-serving organizations. We reflected on questions such as: 🌀 What if care was at the center of how we organize work and society? 🌀 What would change if success was measured not only by output, but by how we sustain each other? 🌀 What kinds of rituals, agreements, or ways of working help people feel supported, seen, and able to thrive? One of the most powerful insights of the evening was the recognition that care is not only personal. It lives in systems, structures, cultures, and everyday interactions. And perhaps it is the most essential capacity for building more just, regenerative, and human futures. Together, we designed small “care in practice” experiments to bring back into our own contexts — new rituals, conversations, agreements, and ways of pacing work that help move care from intention into practice. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed their perspectives, experiences, questions, and care🤍 #culturesofcare #carecentriceconomy #futureofworksalon

In this salon evening, we’ll bring this question into our own worlds of work, collaboration, and everyday life. Together, we will explore where care already shapes the way we work and relate — and where it quietly disappears beneath pressure, speed, and productivity. We’ll look at care not as something “soft” or secondary, but as a foundation for human coexistence, resilient communities, and life-serving organizations. Through stories, reflection, and gentle collective inquiry, we’ll ask: 🌀 What if care was at the center of how we organize work and society? 🌀 What would change if success was measured not only by output, but by how we sustain each other? 🌀 What kinds of rituals, agreements, or ways of working help people actually feel supported, seen, and able to thrive? Together, we’ll explore how care can move from intention to practice — shaping how we lead, collaborate, and design organizations. We’ll also create space to design one small, concrete “care in practice” experiment you can bring back into your own context: a new ritual, agreement, conversation, or way of pacing work. Care is not only personal. It lives in systems, structures, cultures, and everyday interactions. And perhaps, it is one of the most essential capacities for building more just, regenerative, and human futures. 💭 We are curious: Where do you experience care — or long for it — in your own context? This intimate salon evening, is part of our “Future of Work” series — exploring ideas, practices, and conversations that can shape the future of work – for the better. Join our hosts Lisa Jikeli and Sabine Koppe on June 2nd | 7.00 pm at cocreation.loft | Schinkestraße 9 12047 Berlin 🫧 Link to sign up in the comments.
