From what I hear of students today, a lot of scientific topics are feeling incredibly difficult to understand. Sometimes the textbooks are helpful, but a lot of the time a huge textbook can be incredibly daunting; so I've been working on a solution! Here's what I've managed to come up with. Short, easy to read booklets which quickly cover a small topic of science or maths. Whatever the students struggling with they can pick up and hopefully get that support that they need. It's in its early days right now, I've only managed to create around 10 different booklets so far, but everyone has to start somewhere! Right now I'm hoping for testers, people to give the booklets a read and let me know what you think, if they're as easy to read as I intend and especially if they're as informative as the students need them to be! Can you escape from a Black Hole? The short answer is yes, of course you can! The simple fact that we are all alive right now means that staying away from Black Holes is not only possible, but common. However, we here on Earth have the excellent starting condition of never being anywhere near a Black Hole, so it was never really an issue. That being said, the closer you get to a Black Hole, the more that answer of “yes” starts to get a little fuzzy, until the answer is definitely… No. To start to understand why that is, first we need to learn all about two forces: Pressure and Gravity.
