Transport Management Software for Manufacturers and Wholesalers. Your carriers, your rates. Not a middleman.

About us

Cargoson is an Estonian business-to-business cloud-based transport management software (TMS) company headquartered in Tallinn. Founded in 2018, it develops a multi-carrier freight management platform for manufacturers and wholesalers in Europe and North America. We replace all your carrier portals, Excel rate cards, and status-check emails with one platform. Built specifically for manufacturers and wholesalers, not 3PLs. Cargoson is carrier-neutral: you keep your existing carrier contracts and your negotiated rates. We connect to 2,000+ carriers (parcel, LTL, FTL, air, sea, rail), digitize your rate cards, compare rates side-by-side, and let you book and track shipments in one dashboard. Cargoson integrates with major ERP systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle NetSuite, SAP and Odoo. Best fit for: - Manufacturers and wholesalers shipping 50–5,000+ shipments per month - Companies using multiple carriers across multiple freight modes - Teams running ERP systems - European and North American operations Not a fit for: pure D2C parcel-only e-commerce, single-carrier operations, freight forwarders, or freight brokerages. 500+ manufacturers and wholesalers manage their transport with Cargoson TMS. Live in 1-2 weeks. ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 9001:2015 certified, GDPR compliant, EU-hosted. Learn more at www.cargoson.com.

  • The Strait of Hormuz, a narrow channel roughly 33km wide at its tightest point, moves about 20% of the world’s oil. It’s not moving much right now. Tankers are avoiding it, and insurers won’t cover ships in the region. The US-Iran war is reflected in oil prices. One point, you notice a trend, and the next day, a White House statement moves it 12% in the other direction. For anyone managing transport costs, this is a particular kind of headache. Changes in oil prices influence fuel surcharges. Most carriers add a BAF (Bunker Adjustment Fee) surcharge to their rate cards. This can change monthly or weekly, tracking fuel price fluctuations. Hopefully you're not searching and calculating this manually :) When the market swings 30% in ten days, the costs in the budget you planned and the number on the invoice can be very different. Nobody knows how long this lasts. That’s sort of the point. What you need is a transparent overview of the prices at the moment of booking. That’s what Cargoson is for.

You can tighten your IT security as much as you want. Firewalls, encryption, and access controls. But here's what often gets overlooked: Every transport price request your company sends out reveals your business model. Who you buy from. Who you sell to. These requests go out daily to dozens of carriers via email. Only one gets the order, but the information is already out there. I spoke about this at IT Security Day NRW in Dortmund. Over 500 IT professionals in the room, and this wasn't something most had considered. It's not that carriers would misuse this information. The point is: if your logistics communication still runs through open email chains and BCC lists, your security investment only goes so far. Something to think about. Cargoson

When an Italian logistics magazine Logistica interviews you and lists Cargoson alongside giants like Transporeon and SAP as a top TMS globally — that's a good sign we're on the right path. After comparing multiple TMS platforms, Cargoson stood out for: ✅ Quickest implementation (1–4 weeks, not months) ✅ All carrier integrations included in the subscription ✅ Pricelist and transit time management (a combination of human and AI input) ✅ Interface that doesn't require a training manual Feels good to get this kind of validation. Reinforces our belief that making global logistics transparent doesn't have to be complicated. P.S. Don't speak Italian? Neither do most Estonians. Didn't stop Tommy💲Cash from singing about "Espresso Macchiato" at Eurovision, though. Or us from landing in an Italian magazine. 🇪🇪→🇮🇹 Check out the full comparison in Logistica (in comments)👇 #Cargoson #TMS #EstonianCreativity #BoldEstonia #Eurovision2025 #TommyCash #EspressoMacchiato #CultureAndCreativity #Logistics

  • One of the most difficult elements in logistics is pricing.  It's ridiculously complicated. 😬 There's no agreed structure or format of freight rate sheets. Some are using Excel, PDFs with zones and exceptions, Word files hidden in contracts, or even rate updates shared casually via email or WhatsApp. It's been a challenge to bring all the different price lists and changing surcharges into Cargoson TMS. But we love a good challenge. The clarity of the prices, with all hidden costs exposed, enables our customers to easily compare carriers and make smarter decisions. And now, by using AI in the process, we can do it even faster. We can handle even the trickiest price lists. We haven't let anyone go, keeping the human in the loop :) But setting up your account with Cargoson has never been faster and more straightforward than now. If you’re a manufacturer who’s had enough of messy price lists, it’s time to check us out.

  • Quick update for anyone dealing with shipments crossing EU borders. You can now generate a Proforma invoice directly from the Export Declaration form in Cargoson TMS. When you're sending something outside the EU (or receiving from outside), Cargoson automatically shows a "Fill Export Declaration" button in your shipment view. - Fill it out - Book with your carrier - Your Proforma invoice generates automatically using the same data It's one of those small features that saves you a few minutes every time, but when you're doing this regularly, those minutes add up fast.
