Updates

  • We've partnered with Hasselblad to bring native RAW support to Capture One for the first time. You can now import, organize, and develop Hasselblad .3FR files directly in Capture One, with custom color profiles built specifically for the X2D II 100C, X2D 100C, and CFV 100C digital back. Dedicated lens profiles for Hasselblad XCD lenses are included from day one. That means taking your work from capture to final image in one place. No conversions, no compromises. Native RAW is just the first step of what we're building together. Tethered capture, central to commercial and studio production, follows later in 2026. We were thrilled to be part of FLOW on June 3rd, where we joined an incredible lineup of workshops in New York.   Our session, led by Marshall Long and supported by photographer Lauren Loncar, focused on bringing a full commercial workflow to life through a live studio setup. We explored how teams can move more seamlessly from capture to delivery, with a closer look at recent platform updates designed to improve collaboration, streamline editing, and support more flexible workflows, including our Pixelz integration.   Thank you to the team who helped bring the shoot to life: AgX Brooklyn, Shaquille Hamilton (BICOASTAL MGMT), and Sal Lee (The LAB Artist Agency).   And of course, a big thank you to Pixelz Inc for hosting, and to everyone who joined us!

Another update from FLOW, and the workshops did not disappoint! Attendees split across four sessions, and judging by the conversations that spilled out into the breaks after, there was plenty to take away from each. Marshall Long led A Smoother Path From Capture to Delivery With Capture One, walking through a practical studio setup and some of the newer platform updates that help teams edit faster, collaborate better, and hand off work more efficiently. The integration with Pixelz was a highlight, showing how shooting, editing, and post-production can link together more seamlessly than most teams expect. And in true partnership fashion, Kevin Boutwell jumped in for a quick demo of the new integration, showing how Pixelz specifications can be accessed directly within Capture One. Running alongside that, Brian Guidry facilitated an attendee-led discussion on Navigating AI Implementation Internally, and it clearly hit a nerve. The conversation surfaced the friction points teams are running into, like handling proof of concepts, a growing tech stack, and managing stakeholders. For the next set of workshops, Eric Fulmer from Creative Force led Navigating the Future of AI in Content Operations. The focus was on moving past the scarcity mindset and how we would approach our work with an abundance mindset. He encouraged the room to engage in a thought experiment about the value that more content could bring to your organization. And for those who needed a breather from all things AI, the Let's NOT Talk About AI discussion gave the room exactly that. Brian held space for the conversations that don't always get stage time like team dynamics, creative outlets outside the studio, evaluating skills in a changing industry, and movies and tv shows that inspire creativity. More from FLOW coming soon!
