Bringing positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer for 40 years.

About us

Camp Quality brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer.  Our programs and services help families build optimism and resilience through community, education and fun. We are there for kids (0-15) dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a sibling, parent, or carer, every step of the way.  We’re proud to have improved the quality of life for kids impacted by cancer, and their families, for almost 40 years.

  • 💛 Little hearts can learn big lessons 💛 Our Cancer Education Program helps children better understand cancer through free, age-appropriate puppet shows delivered in schools and early learning centres across Australia. One of these programs, The Buddy Bench, gently explores what it can feel like to return to school after cancer treatment. Through Kylie’s story and the support of her friend Dean, children learn about empathy, inclusion, confidence, and an important message: you can’t catch cancer. Schools and early learning centres can book a free Camp Quality puppet show to support important conversations in their communities. If you would like to enquire about our free puppet shows, please fill out the form on our website: https://lnkd.in/eMC7DRA6

  • June is Cancer Survivors Month, a time to celebrate the incredible strength, resilience and courage of those who have faced cancer and continue to thrive beyond their diagnosis. Across our Camp Quality community and beyond, we honour every survivor and the unique journey that has brought them to this moment. Your strength, hope and spirit inspire us every day. This month is also a time to acknowledge the families, friends and loved ones who have walked alongside someone through cancer. For some, that journey has included saying goodbye to someone deeply cherished. While cancer may have taken a loved one, it can never take away the memories, love and impact they leave behind. Their legacy lives on through the stories shared, the lives they touched, and the love that remains. This Cancer Survivors Month, we celebrate survivorship in all its forms — the individuals who have overcome cancer, the families who continue to move forward after loss, and the communities that support one another through every chapter of the journey.

  • Today marks the beginning of National Reconciliation Week 2026. Camp Quality proudly acknowledges and supports the theme All In for Reconciliation - a call for all Australians to contribute wholeheartedly to reconciliation every day. As an organisation, we recognise the importance of listening, learning, and taking meaningful action towards reconciliation, not only this week, but every day. Together, we can create stronger connections, greater understanding, and lasting change for future generations and work towards creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and the wider Australian community. #NRW2026
