Filmed this LIVE walking home from the gym because the thought felt more important than making the video perfect. 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐈 𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞. ⏸️ I planned to do yoga after my circuit class, but halfway through, I could feel my body telling me something wasn’t right. So, I listened, paused and changed course. And it made me think about something we rarely talk about in marketing, business, or life in general: We are constantly told to keep pushing. 🏃♀️ 💨 𝐾𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑖𝑔𝑛 𝑟𝑢𝑛𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔. 𝐾𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑠𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔. 𝐾𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔. 𝐾𝑒𝑒𝑝 𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔. But sometimes the smartest thing you can do is pause. 🛑 If performance suddenly drops, if the data changes, or if something in your gut tells you things are off, why are we so afraid to step back and reassess before pushing forward? I’ve always believed client budgets should be treated like your own money. Whether it’s a $1K ad spend or a $100K campaign, blindly continuing because “that’s the plan” rarely leads to the best outcome. The same goes for health, fitness, and honestly most things in life. • What are your favourite examples of experiential marketing lately?

The experiential marketing at DMWF this year was 🤌🏻. The booths people remembered weren’t necessarily the biggest or loudest. They were the ones creating moments attendees actually wanted to interact with, film, and share. Snapchat for Business turning their booth into a mini convenience store with scratch-offs for snacks and drinks was a smart example of this. Simple idea, but it created participation and constant foot traffic. My friends over Hootsuite and Talkwalker also stood out by stitching custom “Social Genius” hats live for attendees — which quickly became walking advertisements around the conference floor. And, honestly, walking ads wherever we went back to and on our social media. And shoutout to AdRoll for the coolest marketing magic 8 ball. 🎱 This has been dominating my Zoom calls this week. The best event marketing right now doesn’t feel overly corporate. It feels participatory, social-first, and designed to live beyond the booth itself. Your booth is no longer just a booth. It’s content strategy in physical form. #ExperientialMarketing #EventMarketing #B2BMarketing #SocialMediaMarketing #DigitalMarketing

One of the biggest mistakes marketers are making right now? Assuming they know when people have attention. After DMWF, I kept thinking about how much modern marketing is built around dashboards, generalized timing data and AI optimization — without enough real understanding of how people actually live. Saturday morning accidentally proved the point for me. I was up at 6AM with my son and finally had a quiet moment to scroll my phone. And there was almost nothing being served to me: * barely any ads * almost no emails * very little content Then I checked again around 9AM. Suddenly everything appeared — ads, emails, recommendations, content. The problem? By then, I was busy again. I barely had time to finish my own screen recording experiment. Marketers are missing real consumption windows because too many strategies are built around assumptions instead of observed behavior. And I don’t think this only applies to moms. If you’re not actively walking in your audience’s shoes, you may be optimizing for the wrong moments entirely. This idea came directly from conversations at DMWF, so I linked the full recap video here: https://lnkd.in/em5hHCU6. #DigitalMarketing #ConsumerBehavior #MarketingStrategy #DMWF #AI #CRM

NOT the DMWF recap I planned to make. But, at least it’s not #AIslop. When you are a mom and a CEO, this is reality. People want authentic content, right? Well here you go - feet and all! I had the most inspiring 2 days at #DMWF, but it’s been back to reality. Here’s what you need to know about the state of #digitalmarketing in 2026: 1. Please stop posting AI slop on social. dig AI and Ofer Familier shared some incredible date in their presentation that hammered home what we already know as marketers - people don’t like it. Use AI to help you gain insights into what to create and analyse what’s working, but put the effort back into creating real content. 2. Stop bombarding consumers - especially moms - with too many emails and ads. If they don’t click it doesn’t mean they aren’t interested, it means they are stressed or busy. Please try again later. And check for silent converters. Huge thank you to Komal Helyer and Emma Woodward (Church) for their presentation “Your CRM Assumes Rationality – However, Your Customers Don’t Work That Way”. If you watch one presentation from DMWF, THIS is the one. 3. I heard a great quote during the session on Turning Customer Signals into Instant Action - “You can’t expect Formula 1–level insights from a family hatchback data system.” So my biggest takeaway os use 2026 to get your foundation in place. Thank you to Jane Asimaki, Rob Manley, Shauna O'Brien, John Anderson and Max Sobell for a panel that got me in the right mindset for the rest of the show. 4. Your employees are your best resource for marketing content. Use them as creators and make sure they are amplifying your content - especially on LinkedIn. I heard this over and over again from speakers like Calvin Anderson, Chloe Hyde, Alison G., Lilith King Taylor, Dr Kishan Rees, Gary Gumbleton and Gayathri Nagarajan. I know it can be tough to get them to participate - especially on LinkedIn. But there are amazing tools out there like Heyoo.ai that can help you with this. Big thanks to Bas Janssen for the amazing demo - we can’t wait to use Heyoo.ai with our clients. I did have one more insight about evaluating and choosing the best tools in an oversaturated world, but that will need to wait for another post because it’s bed time. #marketing #socialmedia #content

  • Resilience isn’t built in comfort—it’s built in the moments you choose to keep going. After another COVID setback this autumn, our Founder & CEO Brittany Oat almost gave up her HYROX spot. But she decided to dig deep and take on HYROX Dublin solo this November, racing in memory of her grandfather, Matthew Piscatelli, who fought lung cancer with strength, humour, and a heart for helping others. For Brittany, this challenge isn’t about chasing a time—it’s about showing up when it would be easier to stop. It’s about purpose, perseverance, and giving back. She's raising £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support, who provide life-changing care for families facing cancer across the UK. 💚 You can support the cause here 👉 https://lnkd.in/e3RSBHqF #HYROXDublin #MacmillanCancerSupport #Resilience #Purpose #Community #FitnessForGood

This November, I’m taking on my first HYROX solo in Dublin — solo to raise at least £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of my Poppa Matthew Piscatelli. After my 40th birthday, another round of COVID knocked me down. I almost gave away my race spot—until I saw a video of childhood cancer advocate Zuza Beine, who had just passed away. I cried. And I realised: I have no excuse. I’m here. I can show up. So this race isn’t about time or even PBs. It’s about purpose. It’s for Poppa. For Zuza. For every family facing cancer. 💚 Every pound helps. Every breath counts. 👉 https://lnkd.in/eUpBDiGr #HYROXDublin #MacmillanCancerSupport #ForPoppa #NoOneFacesCancerAlone #HYROX #Fundraiser #StrongerEveryDay
