We recently worked on an offline #PWA connected to #NetSuite for a field-service workflow. The main requirement was simple: technicians needed to complete inspection forms from their phones, often in places with poor or no connection. Instead of creating a separate backend, database, and admin panel, we kept #NetSuite as the main system of record. The #PWA works offline, stores the form data locally, and syncs everything back to the related NetSuite Job once the connection is available again. Photos are uploaded to the File Cabinet, and the operational review still happens inside NetSuite. That kept the architecture relatively simple: - No separate database. - No second admin interface. - No duplicated technician records. - No manual re-entry of field data. It is not the right approach for every offline use case, but for this workflow it made sense. NetSuite already had the jobs, users, files, and business process, so the app only needed to handle the offline experience and the sync layer.
