    How are my everyday conversations with clients? Some calls are smooth: a user explains the problem clearly, I walk them through the fix, and we both hang up happy. Those calls make the job feel effortless. Other calls… well, they can test your patience like nothing else. I’ve often wished for a “caller temperament” so I’d pick who I wanted to talk to. Dealing with all kinds of users has taught me a lot: patience, empathy, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. But just because we learn to deal with challenging calls doesn’t make it the right thing, it’s still important for people to be calm and respectful when talking to IT personnel. This is a gentle reminder: being patient and clear makes a huge difference. It helps solve issues faster, reduces frustration on both sides, and keeps the conversation productive. To my fellow IT pros: may your coffee be strong, and your callers mostly calm. ☕
