Pay for Guest is now live in Bilt Hospitality for Dining. When someone wants to treat a friend to dinner from afar, it always falls on restaurant teams to coordinate. A phone call, a card number read over the phone, or a note passed to the server. And, there's still no guarantee the surprise lands the way it was meant to. Restaurant operators can now send a payment authorization link directly to whoever is covering the meal. They complete it on their own time, on their own device – paying in full or a set amount – and leave a note if they want the guest to see something at checkout.
