Today, we were proud to 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 one of them. 🍰 🍹 👉 After 40 years at Beddeleem, our colleague 𝗟𝘂𝗰 is retiring. As our dedicated 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿, he ensured that materials reached construction sites across Belgium safely, efficiently and on time. A role that may often remain behind the scenes, but one that is essential to delivering quality for our customers. 😮 Over the course of his career, Luc drove 𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘀, finishing on a high note with our 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮. 🚴♂️𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲: 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐊 𝐕𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 The Beddeleem team was back on the track on Friday 13 June for another edition of the BK Vastgoed (Belgian real Estate Cycling Championship). 🚴♂️ Beyond sport and networking, the event supports 𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐒, a remarkable initiative closely linked to UZ Leuven. The KITES team helps children with life-threatening conditions and their families by providing medical, psychosocial and palliative support both in the hospital and at home. 💛 🙏 A big thank you to all riders, teams, organisers and supporters for making this year's edition such a nice event. For its new headquarters in Brussels, Wallonie-Bruxelles Enseignement (WBE) chose the fully redeveloped Pacheco building: an iconic transformation where 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 are at the heart of every decision. 🔄 Rather than opting for demolition, the project focused on 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘂𝘀𝗲, allowing approximately 70% of the existing structure and materials to be retained. This ambitious circular approach earned the project the 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗯 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 and contributed to achieving a BREEAM Official 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in the design phase. 👏 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 was brought to life throughout the project. Beddeleem incorporated more than 𝟯𝟴𝟱𝟬 𝗺² 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗕 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 built with reclaimed profiles and insulation. The commitment to reuse extended beyond the partitions, with 𝗥𝗘𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀 and over 𝟰,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗺² 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 across the office spaces. ♻️ In addition, Beddeleem delivered several 𝗝𝗕 𝗖𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗠 solutions, including reception desks and kitchenettes, while 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 the HVAC, electrical and painting works. 📆 One of the biggest challenges was the exceptionally tight schedule. Thanks to 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, we successfully completed the works within the required timeframe of 4,5 𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉𝒔! 💪 🤓 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥-𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵?
