Our CEO Rejah Rehim represented Beagle Security at two Google events this week. Google I/O Connect for the big ideas - from Gemini to agentic AI, a deep dive into where developer tech is headed. The Community Mixer hosted by Google for Developers, for the real conversations, an evening of networking and catching up with the folks who make this community what it is. The senior security engineer asked the intern to run a pentest. Simple task, clear intent in his head, not so clear in the instructions.The intern did exactly what was asked, just on the wrong environment. Production went down within minutes. Someone needs to tell the intern because he clearly has no idea about the repercussions. Turns out "pentest it" and "pentest the staging enviornment" are two very different instructions. Clear scope, every time.
