  • Meet Ashutosh. A designer at heart, a world-builder by trade, and a provider of actual solutions (not just pretty sketches). With a background in architecture and a Masters degree in Production Design from SCAD, Ash specializes in what we like to call the "fantastical but feasible." From leading production design on XR stages in Atlanta to his work with the Production Design Initiative at ADG, he brings a cinematic eye to every themed environment we touch. He masterfully balances the strict spatial relationships of architecture with the narrative heart of film, ensuring our wildest concepts are 100% executable. Oh, and when he isn't drawing up theme parks, he’s winning fine art awards for his paintings and mind-bending sidewalk chalk art. No big deal.

  • We’re thrilled to show off our work at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Museum. Basemint designed the exterior and interior renovations and new interactive exhibits that celebrate the pioneers of aerospace. We even handled the new gift shop design because every great mission needs a souvenir (and a revenue stream).

  • When she isn't guiding our projects with laser focus, our Producer, Sophie, is in the trenches of the "maker" world, fabricating her own high-end cosplay costumes. It’s one thing to sketch a character; it’s another to understand the fabric, movement, and soul required to make it breathe. Clients and coworkers love working with her because she isn't just a human spreadsheet managing a timeline. She is an advocate for the best possible version of the guest experience, ensuring every detail is honest and self-aware. Sophie’s obsession with the "how" behind the "wow" makes her a true gift to our clients and an essential part of what makes us Basemint.

  • Josh is getting some very creative inspiration in Spain right now!

I'm currently scouting Monte Igueldo in San Sebastián, Spain, for a dose of vintage inspiration. From a design perspective, this place is a total anomaly. The Arrival Experience: To get to the amusement park, you're hauled up a steep mountain in a wooden funicular train that has been running since 1912. It creates a sense of "reveal" that modern parks struggle to replicate. The Site Planning: It's an amusement park perched on a cliffside. The spatial relationship between the historic architecture and the drop-off to the Atlantic is the kind of "Big Bold Design" we live for.

  • For the second year in a row, the Basemint team was honored to sponsor and attend the "Evening for the Estuary" fundraiser for the GTM Research Reserve. Supporting the conservation of our local ecosystems is a cause that aligns perfectly with our mission to design meaningful, impactful environments.

  • Erik has been a creative beast with Basemint since 2020. I am constantly amazed at the knowledge and leadership that pours out of him. I know I can speak for all of us in the Basemint crew, this place wouldn't be the same without him - Erik genuinely empowers the rest of us, allowing us to perform at the highest level for our clients. A true tinkerer of tech, king of clown city (Ringling grad), and certified crisis coach - I'm so glad to put this well-deserved spotlight on Erik Baeumlisberger.

  • At Basemint, we bridge the gap between a "big idea" and a breathtaking reality. There is no better example than Aeronautica Landing. As a USA Today Top 10 Best New Attraction winner, it stands as a testament to what happens when design intent is preserved from concept to completion.

  • Welcome! I'm Josh Adcock- Basemint's Owner and President. My journey started with sculpting spaces as an artist and master planner, but I've always believed that true design isn't finished until it's built, felt, and lived. I approach everything from expansive themed lands to individual artifacts through a sensory lens, ensuring that every element influences how a person moves and breathes within a space. Whether the budget is $5 or $5 million, the mission at Basemint remains the same: make it BOLD, make it fun, and make it unforgettable.

  • Basemint specializes in Experience Design and Creative Services for Themed Entertainment and Hospitality venues. But more importantly, we specialize in human experiences made by humans with experience. Come see what's freshly minted.
