"Risk management is becoming a source of resilience, strategic clarity, and competitive advantage," notes Manuel Meier. Today, clients expect insurers to understand not just their risks but also their business realities and industry dynamics. The insurers that will stand out will be those who combine data, technology, and specialist insight to help clients act earlier, decide better, and navigate risks effectively across all exposures. ➡️ Read Manuel's full article below; link in comments 👇

"If data centers fail, the impact is immediate, from lost income and disrupted operations to reputational damage," notes Scott Gunter, CEO of AXA XL. As companies race to scale computing power with more data centers, they are becoming a critical source of enterprise risk. For boards, this raises essential questions around concentration risk, the true cost of downtime across operations and the value chain, and the resilience of systems during power and connectivity failures. ➡️ Read Scott's insights in this Bloomberg article on why data centers are a board-level risk and what organizations can do to manage it: https://lnkd.in/enPp8F5k

"Approximately 90% of cyber incidents are caused by human error, and both cyber risk and resilience ultimately hinge on human behavior," notes Rébiah Bardot-Girard, our Global Head of Cyber Risk Consulting Services.    Every new technology brings a good guy and a bad guy. AI, for example, enhances certain capabilities but also gives bad actors greater scope to commit cybercrime on an industrial scale.   Cyber is fast-moving and presents potential for high risk. That’s why we built the four pillars — Prevent, Prepare, Protect, and Prevail — to provide a comprehensive cybersecurity approach.    ➡️ Read Rébiah's thoughts in this article: https://lnkd.in/dYwZZvTX 📎 This article is also available in the following languages: 🇫🇷: https://lnkd.in/dZWcQNy3 🇩🇪: https://lnkd.in/dsz_BaWG 🇮🇹: https://lnkd.in/dJ3cnzyE 🇪🇸: https://lnkd.in/dAb-fDcP

Geopolitical risk is no longer a distant backdrop; it’s a boardroom priority. In our latest Ahead of the Risk webinar, former NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer joined Libby Benet, and expert panelists to explore how organizations can turn geopolitical uncertainty into practical decisions on strategy, operations, and resilience. The webinar covered today’s fast-moving security landscape, the economic channels of geopolitical volatility, the role of strategic intelligence, and how prevention-focused risk engineering can help businesses prepare for what comes next. 🎥 Watch the recording and hear the key takeaways from Jaap and the panel here: https://lnkd.in/dzxacvzP

“Clients are no longer managing isolated events. They are managing overlapping disruption”, notes Manuel Meier, our Chief Client Officer. As organizations face increasingly complex and unpredictable challenges, insurers are expected not only to provide protection but also to offer valuable insights, responsiveness, and practical support. In his experience in client-facing leadership roles, Manuel has observed that responsiveness is just as important as expertise. Clients tend to remember how clearly their partners communicate, how quickly they react, and whether they stay close when circumstances become more uncertain. ➡️ Read Manuel's reflections on how insurers can help clients make better-informed decisions: https://lnkd.in/e2Z6DkH5 📎 This article is also available in the following languages: 🇫🇷: https://lnkd.in/ezsRC9eX 🇩🇪: https://lnkd.in/e7-Dj9AZ 🇮🇹: https://lnkd.in/eHe5Bqph 🇪🇸: https://lnkd.in/eTdwyQQt

Our colleagues stepped out of their usual roles and into their communities for our Global Day of Giving, as part of AXA's Week for Good. Now in its 21st year, we're proud to celebrate the incredible generosity and commitment of our colleagues.
