Sandra Ekpenyong is a publisher, entrepreneur, leadership strategist, and visionary community builder dedicated to developing leaders and creating platforms that transform lives. As the African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO) DMV Leadership Chapter, she has led the establishment of the organization's inaugural chapter in the Washington Metropolitan Area, bringing together distinguished leaders from business, government, diplomacy, academia, and the nonprofit sector to foster collaboration, mentorship, and global impact. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Joseph Dream Publishing, a boutique publishing house that helps authors, executives, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders transform their expertise into books, intellectual property, and influential personal brands. She is also the founder of World Harvest International Ministries and Empowering Women, Empowering Voices (EWEV), organizations committed to empowering individuals through leadership development, education, mentorship, faith, and community engagement.   • AWLO CANADA DIASPORA SUMMIT 2026 The AWLO Canada Diaspora Summit 2026 concluded successfully, bringing together African women, Caribbean women, Jamaican women, Black women across the Diaspora, and our HeForShe allies. The Summit was designed to unite leadership, drive collaboration, and position Diaspora women at decision-making tables across Canada. The day began with an impactful morning session focused on dialogue, policy, and nation-building. Leaders from Brampton to Vancouver engaged in conversations on Unity, Leadership, and Nation-Building across healthcare, education, business, tech, policy, and the arts. The event culminated in the classic Canada Legacy Honors Gala in the evening an elegant celebration recognizing excellence and closing the year on a high note.
