Shortly after midnight in September 2025, a woman in the City of Carrollton, TX watched her husband collapse beside her in bed. She called 911, got him onto the floor, and began chest compressions - guided by a 911 telecommunicator. Dispatch simultaneously alerted EMS, police, and every Avive Connect AED® within range. We had an incredible 4th of July weekend at the 57th Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race! Avive teamed up with Northside and the Atlanta Track Club to put cardiac safety front and center at one of the nation's largest road races. Across all 23 race waves, 50 Avive Connect AEDs® were carried by trained volunteer runners, ensuring lifesaving equipment was never more than minutes away from any participant on the course. We're honored to have played a part in keeping this community safe - a huge congratulations to everyone who ran, volunteered, and showed up to make the event happen! Another great day earlier this week as we celebrated the ribbon-cutting for a new outdoor AED SaveStation at LeTort Park in Carlisle, located next to the pickleball courts! A huge thank you to the Carlisle Pickleball, WellSpan Health, and the Carlisle team for making this life-saving project possible. We also enjoyed providing CPR demonstrations and sharing the importance of being prepared for a cardiac emergency. Every AED placed in our community has the potential to save a life.
