The build-vs-buy mentality in security is changing. Generative AI has made it possible for security teams to quickly build their own detection workflows, risk-scoring engines, and investigation pipelines scoped precisely to their environment. But the early movers are learning something important: Your AI security tools are only as good as the identity data you feed them. Most organizations have logs and policies. What they're missing is the ground truth of what every identity is actually doing, across cloud, SaaS, on-prem, AI agents, and NHIs, not just what policies say they're allowed to do. Without that, your AI tools fire on isolated events and miss the cross-environment behavioral patterns that actually indicate a threat. Get the foundation right before the build accelerates. AI agents are already operating inside enterprise environments. They're authenticating to systems, retrieving secrets, assuming privileged roles, and interacting across cloud, SaaS, and APIs. Most organizations don't know how many AI agents they have or what those agents are actually doing. Traditional identity tools rely on provisioning records and IdP events, leaving shadow and rogue agents completely invisible. Join Ryan Rowcliffe, Principal Solution Engineer at AuthMind, for an upcoming webinar to learn how to move from a static, incomplete AI agent inventory to continuous, real-time AI agent runtime protection. 📅Webinar Date - July 23, 2026 🕚 Time - 11:00 AM ET In this session, you'll learn how to: 🔍 Discover shadow and rogue AI agents automatically 🧠 Classify AI agents based on behavior and risk exposure 🔐 Identify gaps across authentication, role assumption, and secret access ⚡ Detect unusual AI agent activity in real time 🛡️ Protect every AI agent operating in your environment Register now: https://lnkd.in/gfhXFTRP #AgenticAI #AISecurity #IdentitySecurity #AIAgentSecurity #IdentityObservability #CyberSecurity #NonHumanIdentity #AuthMind

What if a simple text file could turn your AI agent into an insider threat? No malware. No stolen credentials. No zero-day exploit. Just a seemingly legitimate invoice containing hidden instructions that trick an AI agent into escalating privileges and exposing sensitive data. This is the reality of prompt injection attacks. The risk isn't just the prompt, it's what happens when autonomous AI agents have privileged access and no runtime visibility into their behavior. In our latest blog, we walk through a real-world scenario showing: ☑️How prompt injection attacks work ☑️Why traditional security tools fail to detect them ☑️How authorized actions can still lead to a data breach Why runtime identity observability is essential for securing AI agents As organizations adopt more agentic AI, protecting what AI agents actually do, not just what they're allowed to do has become a critical part of modern identity security. Identiverse 2026 confirmed what many of us have been sensing: identity is no longer just an IAM conversation. It's now an AI security conversation. This year, alongside identity practitioners were CISOs, security leaders, and business executives all trying to answer the same question: How do we secure AI agents operating across our environments? One theme surfaced repeatedly throughout the event: 👉 You can't govern what you can't see. As organizations deploy more AI agents, securing them requires more than identity policies. It requires: • Runtime discovery of AI agents • Continuous governance throughout their lifecycle • Real-time threat detection based on actual behavior not assumptions And all of it starts with one foundational capability: runtime observability. Our CEO and Co-Founder, Shlomi Yanai, shared key takeaways from Identiverse 2026 and why identity has become the front line of AI security. Proud to announce AuthMind has been awarded our third U.S. Patent.🚀 U.S. Patent No. 12,615,283 B2 "Systems and Methods for Network Security" covers the core technology behind how AuthMind continuously monitors network dataflows and authentication activity to identify identity risks, compromised AI agents, unauthorized access paths and policy violations in real time. As organizations adopt more AI agents, autonomous workflows, and non-human identities, the identity attack surface continues to expand beyond the visibility of traditional security tools. This patent reinforces AuthMind's mission to help organizations observe what identities actually do, not just what policies say they should do. That gap between intent and reality is exactly where attackers are able to operate. AI agents are being deployed faster than security teams can track them. And most organizations have no visibility into the access paths these identities are actually using. This patent reflects the innovation behind how we find what other tools miss from shadow AI agents that were never provisioned to machine identities moving through access paths no one approved. Thank you to our engineering, product, and research teams whose innovation continues to drive the future of identity security. Every AI agent in your environment is an identity. It authenticates, retrieves secrets, assumes roles, calls APIs and makes decisions in production. Often without a human approving each move. Most organizations cannot tell you how many of those agents exist in their environment right now, let alone what those identities are actually accessing, touching, and doing across cloud, SaaS and infrastructure at any given moment. Static IAM policy was not built for this explosion in autonomous identities. A provisioning record cannot tell you whether an autonomous agent is behaving as intended or has gone rogue. A compromised agent and a well-behaved one look identical if all you can see is configuration. There are no tools that can efficiently discover and map an unknown AI agent back to the human who created it. Agentic AI did not create a new attack surface, it supercharged an existing one. The answer is deep, contextual Identity Observability. Not more policy or more governance reviews. Continuous runtime visibility into what every identity, AI, NHI and human is actually doing the moment it acts. We wrote the definitive guide to identity observability. What it is, why you need it and how you should evaluate moving forward. How many AI agents are currently operating in your environment that you do not have visibility into? Not the ones IT provisioned. Not the ones documented in your inventory. The ones embedded in SaaS applications, running through personal accounts, spawned by autonomous workflows or even created by other AI agents. Traditional identity and security tools depend on provisioning records and IdP events to discover identities. But a lot of shadow AI agents don't wait to be provisioned. They operate outside governance processes, often hiding behind legitimate user credentials and appearing as normal activity. In our latest blog and video, we explore: 🔍 Why traditional identity tools can miss unknown AI agents 🤖 How AuthMind discovers shadow and rogue AI agents through patented network-level observability 🧠 How AI agents are automatically classified based on behavior 👤 How every discovered agent is mapped back to its human owner ⚡ Why AI agent runtime security is becoming critical for organizations The first step to securing AI agents is knowing they exist. 📖 Read the blog - https://lnkd.in/dtUP-CVN 🎥 Watch the video - https://lnkd.in/dxa_eGRQ #AgenticAI #AISecurity #IdentityObservability #AIAgents #IdentitySecurity #ShadowAI #CyberSecurity #NonHumanIdentities #AuthMind

Day 1 at Identiverse 2026 is off to a great start. 🎉 At the AuthMind Booth (546) we’ve already had countless conversations about what your AI agents are actually doing, not just what they're supposed to be doing. The conversations today made one thing clear: "shadow AI" isn't a future problem. It's already sitting in production environments right now, and most security teams know it. From AI agents and non-human identities to identity-based threats hiding in plain sight, it was great connecting with identity leaders who are looking to move beyond static access controls and gain visibility into what identities are actually doing across their environments. If you're attending Identiverse 2026, stop by Booth #546 to see how AuthMind helps organizations discover, observe, and protect every identity across their environment. We're looking forward to more great conversations throughout the week! #Identiverse2026 #AuthMind #IdentityObservability #AgenticAI #NHI #IdentitySecurity #IdentityVisibility
