Anyone who has worked in events knows that event days can be demanding. Early mornings, last minute adjustments, long hours and the pressure to produce a seamless experience can easily take a toll on even the most experienced event professionals. While busy event days are unavoidable, burnout doesn't have to be. Here are a few ways event professionals can stay at their best during demanding event days: • Make a Plan - Make sure to clear timelines, define responsibilities and create contingency plans help reduce stress when unexpected challenges arise. • Communicate Early & Often - Strong communication keeps everyone aligned and helps prevent small issues from spiraling and becoming major problems • Take care of the Basics - Staying hydrated, eating regularly and taking short breaks whenever possible can make a significant difference throughout a long day. • Trust Your Team - Successful events are built through collaboration. Delegating responsibilities and supporting one another helps prevent unnecessary overload. • Prioritize Recovery - After the event, take time to rest, reflect on your experiences and give yourself some time before going into the next event (If possible). The events industry is fast paced and rewarding but can also be tiring at times so make sure to keep a sustainable schedule to take care of yourself. What strategies have helped you to avoid burnout during busy event days? #ATWM #EventManagement #EventsIndustry #EventPlanning #EventProfessionals #Teamwork #Leadership #BurnoutPrevention #WorkplaceWellbeing #Events #EventSuccess

At a recent post-event debrief, one of the most telling client questions was simple: Were attendees truly engaged? With increasingly busy work and personal lives, it’s a valid concern. The pull of email, Slack, and social can make it harder for audiences to stay present even in the most thoughtfully designed environments. While distraction wasn’t a challenge at this particular event, we’re seeing more planners explore phone-free experiences as a way to bring focus back. A notable example: Pinterest’s phone-free activation at Coachella. Guests were asked to put their devices away resulting in deeper, more meaningful engagement, and even stronger conversation after the experience. At ATWM, we don’t see this as an all-or-nothing approach. Instead, it’s an opportunity to design intentional moments of focus within the attendee journey: • Opt-in phone-free sessions for high-value content • Analog spaces designed for real conversation • “Experience now, share later” content strategies ➡️ Would your audience embrace a phone-free moment at your next event? #ATWMEvents #EventProf #EventTech #EventTechnology #EventManagement #EventPlatform #EventMarketing #EventStrategy #ExperientialMarketing #AudienceEngagement

At ATWM, our work is guided by principles we actively put into practice, shaping how we design, build, and deliver every event experience. • We lead with transparency, setting clear expectations about what’s possible and what it takes to get there. • We prioritize strategy-led execution, integrating the platform from day one—not as an afterthought. • We uphold quality through discipline, grounding every program in discovery, testing, and human-centered design. • We embrace curiosity, continuously challenging assumptions and finding smarter ways to maximize the tools we have. • And we deliver excellence by design, choosing solutions based on what creates the best experience, not what’s trending. Because great events don’t happen by chance, they’re intentionally designed, strategically executed, and built on trust. #ATWMEvents #EventProfs #EventTech #EventTechnology #EventManagement #EventInsider #EventIndustry #ATWM #EventStrategy #ExperienceDesign #EventProf
