About us
For more than 50 years, ArtsFund has strengthened the community by raising funds from individuals and businesses to support the region’s nonprofit arts sector through grants and other organizational assistance. Through its allocations process, ArtsFund has distributed more than $100 million in grants to a broad range of more than 100 arts groups in a wide variety of disciplines and scales throughout Washington State. ArtsFund's grants provide general operating support--typically the most difficult funding for the groups to find, and arguably the most critical. As the central voice for the arts in the region, ArtsFund provides capacity-building programs, conducts important research and advocates on behalf of the sector.

Happy Week of Gratitude! Every year, ArtsFund takes a moment to express our appreciation for your unwavering support of our programs, Cultural Partners, and the arts and culture in Washington. On the first day of Week of Gratitude, we want to thank you for your support that allows us to offer a nonprofit Board Leadership Training course as well as ongoing Convenings for the cultural sector. Our longstanding BLT program helps develop the next generation of community and civic leaders by equipping them with essential skills for supporting arts and cultural organizations. Our Convenings support cultural administrators by providing trainings with experts designed to foster discussion and provide applicable tools. Here's what an anonymous participant said about our most recent Convening, Financial Clarity for Creative Sustainability with C. Lorenzo Evans III. "C. Lorenzo was great! The information shared was very helpful for non-profit operations. Especially understanding how to gauge financial health through specific processes, statements, and strategy."
