Applied Atomics reposted this
Today, we are proud to announce that Applied Atomics has raised an oversubscribed $4M pre-seed round led by Oxford Science Enterprises. With world class backers and supporters including: E2MC (Earth-to-Mars Capital)/ BVVC/ Raptor Group - Jim Pallotta / Aramco Ventures / DraperU Ventures - Tim Draper/ Ante-Bellum Angels/ Tiny Supercomputer Investment Company / Carat Venture Partners At Applied Atomics, we believe humanity cannot become a truly spacefaring civilization until it can move freely through space. Throughout history, every major leap in human progress has been driven by a new freedom of movement. Ships connected continents and opened the oceans. Aircraft unlocked the skies. Rockets gave us access to orbit. The next great frontier is enabling the freedom to move throughout space itself. That is why we are building the Star Reacher Network: the first in-space mobility network powered by AI-defined multimode propulsion. Our mission is to give spacecraft the ability to move, service, and defend wherever they are needed, creating the infrastructure for a future where movement in space is as fundamental as movement across Earth. This vision is already becoming reality. Our multimode PPU has been delivered and integrated for an upcoming on-orbit demonstration mission, first announced at UK Parliament, and is now on its way to orbit. We are honoured to be advised by industry leaders and supported by a strategic ecosystem. A huge thank you to: NATO DIANA / Airbus Defence and Space's accelerator & Launchpad residency program / Thales Alenia Space & Catalyst / Seraphim Space Accelerator / European Space Agency - ESA BIC UK/ UK Space Agency accelerator/ NVIDIA Inception/ Rho / Exotopic Give Me Some Space Mission and Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. This funding accelerates our path toward building the infrastructure that will make freedom of movement in space possible. Multimode is here. Star Reacher Network is coming. https://lnkd.in/eDMr9VhM
