  • Congratulations to Morgan Levine on being named one of Business Insider's Rising Stars of Longevity. Morgan is leading the way on how to use artificial intelligence models to help unravel the biology of aging, and her well-deserved recognition reflects the impact of that work. We're proud to have her on our team!

  • We're pleased to be featured in The New York Times Magazine, which takes a close look at the science of cellular rejuvenation, and the researchers focused understanding it. Our team has made great progress unraveling this biology. Thanks to Susan Dominus for her time and allowing us to share more about our mission to use cellular rejuvenation to reverse disease, injury, and the disabilities that can occur throughout life. • Congratulations to our president and co-founder Hans Bishop, who had the honor of being appointed by Cancer Research Horizons as a non-executive director to its board!

  • Congrats to Emily Leong Drayer for the well-deserved Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Rising Star award. Emily’s impressive leadership experience, energy and one-team mindset are advancing our mission while making Altos Labs an amazing place to work. Kudos, Emily, and thanks for all you’re doing!

I'm incredibly honored to receive the HBA Rising Star award for 2026. Thank you Altos Labs for the nomination and to Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association for the recognition. When I think about what this award represents, it's less about any individual accomplishment and more about the people who've shaped my path - the mentors who invested in me, the colleagues who challenged and supported me, and the teams I've had the privilege of working alongside across Genentech, Roche, and now Altos Labs. I am energized by the work that we do and the incredible opportunity we have in this field to turn bold ideas into medicines that actually change lives. Thank you to the HBA for championing women who are building the future of healthcare. And thank you to everyone who's invested in me along the way. For nearly 50 years, the HBA has helped develop leaders across healthcare and life sciences, and I’m honored to be recognized among colleagues driving progress across the industry. Recognitions like this highlight the importance of building strong leadership pipelines that will shape the future of healthcare. Excited to celebrate with fellow honorees at the HBA Global Ascension Leadership Experience next month! #HBAimpact #AscendWithHBA #HBARisingStar Join the HBA in San Diego: https://lnkd.in/gEbWwtnq

  • We’re proud to share several recent achievements by our Institute of Computation (IoC) team, which leverages its expertise in artificial intelligence and computational biology to better understand the processes governing cell health and resilience. The Altos team won an exciting award at the Virtual Cell Challenge hosted by the Arc Institute for our custom generative perturbation-prediction model that achieved the most reliable performance and generalization across diverse evaluation criteria among 50 finalists. Our team developed its Cleo Flow Matching Model to infer heterogenous cellular responses to perturbations, an approach that enabled the team to capture fine-grained gene expression details, including complex gene-gene interactions. This recognition follows our team's participation at NeurIPS 2025, where we presented two papers regarding our tools: One, a collaborative effort with Microsoft Research, on scGeneScope, explores how retraining and testing state-of-the-art models to use our unique paired single‑cell RNA‑seq and Cell Painting image dataset can identify perturbations and mechanisms of action under realistic lab variability; a second paper discusses PerturBench, a standardized benchmarking platform for predicting cellular responses to genetic or chemical perturbations. Congratulations to the team!
