We have a new expert-led survey on GenAI and agentic AI in hospitality! While chatbots remain the most visible use cases, the biggest opportunities extend far beyond a smoother guest-facing experience. Here is where the experts we spoke with see the greatest potential. Conversational discovery is becoming a major starting point for travel planning, with up to 80 percent of travelers willing to use an AI agent to find the best options. For hotels, this creates a new path to direct bookings and an opportunity to reduce dependence on OTAs and their commissions. “Instead of showing results influenced by the commission a hotel pays, an AI agent will find options based on my profile.” -- Pedro Lara, Partnership and Distribution Manager at Host Hotel Systems Revenue management is another promising area. Some revenue management system providers report RevPAR improvements of 10 to 25 percent, but the more immediate impact of AI may be on productivity. “One revenue manager who previously handled seven hotels may eventually manage 15.” -- Fabio Maggioni, Hospitality Technology Consultant at Hotel Innovation Pre-stay and post-stay engagement may hold some of the most underused potential, particularly for independent hotels. “Imagine an AI agent that … monitors early demand signals and proactively adjusts distribution, communication, and offers. That is fundamentally different from anything hotels have had before.” -- Are Morch, Digital Transformation Coach and Cloudbeds Ambassador Property quality control is another area where AI can outperform manual inspections, helping hospitality businesses identify issues remotely and reduce the cost of on-site visits. “Guest ratings are one of the most important things for revenue. And what we do is catch issues before they get to a guest.” -- Samuel Parks Parks, Co-Founder of RapidEye At AltexSoft, we have been building AI solutions for hospitality and travel for years - from price elasticity modeling and hotel review sentiment analysis to natural-language search. It hasn’t been a more exciting time for change, but we aren’t sure all hoteliers have realized it yet. In this video, Alex explains where the real bottlenecks appear once AI accelerates development, and what has to change across requirements, review, and testing to actually ship faster.
Where does your dev team actually slow down the most? Requirements, review, testing, deployment, or something else? Drop it in the comments. And if AI writes code 10x faster, why isn't everyone shipping 10x faster?

Our client builds financial planning software for hotels. Over the years, their platform grew to 1,300 customers and more than 5,000 databases, all running on Microsoft SQL Server. At some point, the licensing bills became hard to ignore. Every new customer made them bigger, and the dependency on MS SQL kept limiting how the company could host and scale its infrastructure. So they decided to move everything to open-source PostgreSQL and asked us to handle it. One condition: customers shouldn't notice anything at all. Here's what made this migration work. Full case study here: https://lnkd.in/dqsrB57M Planning a similar migration? Drop us a message solutions@altexsoft.com

Airline offer and order management is one of the toughest engineering challenges in travel tech. Airlines want to modernize retailing without disrupting legacy operations. Their systems still depend on PNRs, e-tickets, EMDs, and GDS workflows. All of that was designed for flight booking, not retail. Vendors have to layer modern retailing on top of this stack and keep both worlds in sync. Every component is engineering-heavy: PSS integration, offer creation, order servicing, payments, accounting, delivery, and cross-channel consistency. Projects like these traditionally took months. With our AI-powered SDLC approach, we help teams ship airline retailing features in weeks. If you build O&O capabilities, integrate with a PSS, or work on cross-channel servicing, DM us! Happy to share how we cut timelines on real airline projects. https://lnkd.in/dETFpUxH

Our client is a European company that has been building financial software for hotels for over 15 years, moving from independent properties to large chains. Their platform grew with them, and so did the complexity nobody planned for. Development was slowing down, parts of the codebase had no documentation, and the full picture lived in the heads of a few long-tenured engineers. The client wanted to fix this without hiring more people. So we set up Interlace, our live knowledge graph that connects code, documentation, and system context for AI agents. It turned out to be useful in four very different ways. Here they are. Full case study: https://lnkd.in/dnbSX-av

In this video, our CEO Alex Medovoi explains which parts of the development process AI accelerates most, and what conditions make those gains real.
Hi everyone! In the previous video I talked about the actual productivity gains we're seeing at AltexSoft with AI coding. This time I want to show where those gains actually come from. AI isn't equally useful everywhere, but there are places where it genuinely shines.

AltexSoft is advancing toward Select-tier status in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network. Today we're applying Claude and AI agents across the software development lifecycle, from requirements and specification to coding, QA, and delivery. Combined with our engineering practices and tools like Interlace, this helps teams accelerate delivery while holding production quality. "Moving toward Select tier is a practical step for us," said Ihor Pavlenko, Director of AI Practice at AltexSoft. "Our goal is not just to complete training or earn a partner label. We want to build a certified internal bench that helps clients use Claude and AI agents in production, with visible impacts including faster delivery, shorter release cycles, higher team productivity, and lower cost per delivered feature." We're also investing in Anthropic certifications, expanding production use cases, and preparing customer stories that demonstrate measurable impact. Looking forward to the next step with Anthropic and to helping more organizations build AI into how they engineer their products. https://lnkd.in/dekMNrUq
