A closer look at the projects shaping our studio | Wynsterne, Streatham Vale, London Wynsterne is a collection of nine three-bedroom homes on the site of the former Rowans Surgery — a brownfield plot given a second life as family housing. Set on a quiet residential street in Streatham Vale, the development was carefully planned for people looking for a little more space — from first-time buyers to households planning ahead. The architecture reinterprets the rhythm of classic London terraces through warm brickwork and Portland stone detailing, creating a street that feels established from the outset. This is our repeat collaboration with Belmont Property. Working closely together again, we designed interiors that balance warmth and precision. Rooms are light-filled and well-proportioned, with practical storage and flexible layouts that support everyday routines. The open-plan ground floor brings kitchen, dining and living together in a single generous space that opens directly onto private south-facing gardens. Kitchens take a Nordic-inspired direction — marble-inspired worktops, mosaic tiled splashbacks and integrated appliances. Bathrooms pair brushed nickel brassware with fluted vanity units and large-format tiles. Bespoke details — smoked glass shelving joinery, feature painted walls, an oriel window — separate these homes from standard developer specification.
