𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 | 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 We’re taking a trip down memory lane for this week’s Project Showcase, looking back at a previously completed Actavo Modular education project. Actavo Modular designed and delivered an 880m² modular building on the school’s campus, providing high-quality learning and support space within a tight project timeframe. The building included an open-plan servery, changing rooms, six classrooms, concrete flooring and wall glazing to the front elevation creating a practical, durable and well-designed facility for day-to-day school use. Delivered as a turnkey solution, the project reflects the key strengths of modular construction: speed, quality, flexibility and reduced disruption to live education environments. 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 | 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 This week’s Project Showcase highlights a public sector project delivered by Actavo Modular for a Garda station in Leinster. Actavo Modular fabricated and installed a 400m² modular extension, providing additional operational space while supporting the station’s ongoing service requirements. The project also included a first-floor link to the existing building, complete with curtain glazing, creating a practical and visually integrated connection between the new and existing structures. A key achievement was the delivery of the project over just two days, with no disruption to Garda operations. This project demonstrates the strength of modular construction in live, operational environments where speed, precision, safety and minimal disruption are critical. 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 | 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 This week’s Actavo Project Showcase focuses on a fully fitted marketing suite designed and manufactured by Actavo Modular to support a major Dublin city centre development. Delivered as a steel-framed modular building, the suite was developed in close consultation with the client and provided as a complete turnkey solution. By manufacturing the building off-site and delivering it ready for rapid installation, Actavo Modular enabled the developer to establish a professional sales and customer engagement environment quickly while construction continued across the wider development. This project demonstrates the value of modular delivery in commercial settings: speed, quality, flexibility and minimal disruption on busy urban sites. 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 | 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 Next up in our Project Showcase series is a healthcare project delivered by Actavo Modular on a live hospital site. This two-part project involved the delivery of a 1,210m² two-storey staff accommodation building and a 250m² single-storey crèche, supporting the wider satellite centre for paediatric outpatient and urgent care services under the National Paediatric Hospital Development Plan. A key element of the scheme was the provision of a fully enclosed modular walkway, linking the new accommodation directly to the existing hospital and improving safe, practical connectivity across the site. With 80% of fabrication completed before the modules arrived on site, the project significantly reduced disruption in a sensitive healthcare environment, one of the core benefits of Modular Methods of Construction. This project demonstrates how modular delivery can provide high-quality, efficient and low-disruption building solutions for critical healthcare infrastructure. 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 Follow along each week as we take a closer look at the projects, sectors and solutions behind our work. First up; Actavo Modular manufactured and installed seven steel-framed modular buildings for an Educate Together Secondary School in Leinster, delivering more than 3,800m² of high-quality school accommodation. The project was delivered as a full turnkey service, providing the school with a flexible, durable and purpose-built learning environment on the periphery of the town. The accommodation included general classrooms alongside a range of specialist teaching spaces, including: • Home Economics kitchen • Science laboratory • Woodwork room • Dedicated sensory room for students with additional needs This project demonstrates the strength of modular construction in the education sector: fast, efficient delivery without compromising on quality, functionality or long-term performance. 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗪𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘃𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹   We are delighted to announce that Actavo Civils, in partnership with Dublin City Council, has won at the Irish Construction Excellence Awards 2026 for the Barrow Street Public Realm Improvement Scheme. This award recognises the successful delivery of a complex urban public realm project that transformed a 420m strategic corridor between Ringsend Road and Grand Canal Street Upper into a safer, more accessible and higher-quality streetscape. The scheme included full carriageway reconstruction, granite footpaths, upgraded utilities, landscaping, street furniture, lighting and a new water bottle filling station, all delivered while maintaining access for residents, businesses and major local employers.   The project is a strong example of what can be achieved through technical expertise, collaborative delivery and proactive stakeholder engagement.
