Walking across any casino floor, you'll see dozens of separate moments happening at once. One guest is checking a kiosk, another is swiping a loyalty card, and a screen flashing a promotion no one's looking at. Individually, none of these moments do much, but when they're connected and working from the same data, they stop being separate start working together to shape one guest experience. That's the idea behind a connected casino experience platform. Rather than treating kiosks, signage, mobile apps and loyalty systems as separate tools bolted on over time, connected casino technology ties them together so every touchpoint shares the same information. The result is a casino that feels intuitive to guests and runs more efficiently for operators without either side having to work harder for it. But what does a connected experience actually mean for you and your guests, and what are the practical ways smart casino systems can help you build loyalty, grow non-gaming revenue, and make smarter decisions in real time?

The cost of large-format LED has dropped to the point where immersive, destination-worthy environments are within reach for retail, hospitality, and enterprise, not just giant installations like the Las Vegas Sphere. Post-pandemic audiences are actively seeking experiences that can't be replicated at home. The commercial logic is clear: more footfall, longer dwell times, and stronger appeal to advertisers and partners. This isn't a fad. The technology is mature, and the costs keep falling. The value of digital signage infrastructure isn't only in what it communicates today, but in what it learns over time. Data around audience flow, content engagement, dwell time by zone, conversion patterns. Organisations that own this data, rather than handing it to third-party platforms for short-term convenience, will be significantly better positioned when AI-driven personalisation reaches its commercial maturity. More on this in our latest whitepaper, linked in the comments. #DigitalSignageInfrastructure #ConnectedSpaceInfrastructure

AI capability and AI deployability are not the same thing. And in public-facing environments, the gap between the two is significant. The most commercially sound AI applications in digital signage right now aren't the flashy ones. They're the operational ones, like real-time capacity updates, traffic-aware alerts, dynamic content driven by external data feeds. Less glamorous, but achievable, measurably useful, and far less likely to damage the trust that takes years to rebuild. More on this in our latest whitepaper, linked in the comments. #AI #SignageAI #WayfinderAI #AVAI

Our connected space infrastructure platform is what our partners build casino experiences on. It handles the complexity; the integrations, the real-time data flows and the content logic across every screen in your venue so that the operators and integrators who work with us can focus on what they're best at. What that looks like in practice: ➡️ A single platform managing signage, wayfinding, app and audio ➡️ Content that updates across an entire estate from one interface ➡️ Triggers that respond to real conditions on the floor, alongside scheduled uploads ➡️ Guest communication that behaves like a service, not a broadcast. The casinos doing this well aren't buying point solutions and hoping they connect. They're choosing partners who've already done the work of connecting them. If you're evaluating your communication infrastructure, or if you work with casino operators who are, we'd be glad to show you how we approach it, drop us a message here on LinkedIn. #CasinoMarketing #ConnectedSpaceInfrastructure #Wayfinding #DigitalSignage

There's a new term popping-up more often in the digital signage industry; "digital experiences." But the uncomfortable truth is that experiences aren't created in dashboards. Experiences happen in front of the screen. They're not built through approval workflows, device management portals, or reporting tools. No matter how long the feature list grows, management software alone will never create a memorable moment for an audience. When the stadium erupts with perfectly synchronised visuals, or the visitor attraction transports guests into a story, or the transport hub delivers critical information without a second of confusion, the audiences aren't thinking about the CMS behind it. They're feeling the atmosphere and they're remembering the moment. As display environments grow more complex, incorporating massive LED canvases, immersive projection and multi-display venues, execution has become everything. A poorly synchronised screen or dropped frame doesn't just look bad, it kills the experience entirely. That's why at Acquire, we built StudioDX around one question: can it consistently deliver the experience that was envisioned? Most people will only ever see the finished version of ATLAS at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The Capital Signs team saw it go from concept to reality. It started as an idea pitched by our CTO, Andy Panos. It was developed with Sherif Bedros and the airport marketing team through stakeholder review, design refinement, fabrication, integration, and launch. In my role as Project Architect and Digital Experience Project Manager, I worked across vendor coordination alongside our VP of Sales, Don Leonard, to 3D modeling, renderings, fabrication coordination, content workflows, and system testing. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 One of the most rewarding parts was how much I had to learn in real time. Before ATLAS, I had worked with other 3D programs, but never used SolidWorks. Within a tight timeline, I learned architectural CAD workflows to develop the 3D models and drawing packages for construction. Working closely with Henry Wiggins and our other fabricators and engineers, I translated the design from a digital model to an approved, buildable structural design. I also learned how to create and test equirectangular content for a spherical LED format. Along the way, I expanded my skills in Blender, rendering, and content testing to visualize, prototype, and refine media for the sphere. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 I worked closely with our Digital Content & Marketing Director, Celia Hicks, who led the final media direction for the installed experience. Together, we explored visual concepts and refined how media would translate onto the sphere, powered by Acquire Digital's Studio DX. Once the structure came together, we collaborated with Render Impact, as well as Gryphon Coovadia, and Miguel Vera, two of Savannah College of Art and Design's most talented MOME alumni. I especially enjoyed collaborating with them on animations for the #GatesToGoals campaign. I also got to work with Daniel Phelps, PhD / MFA, who was brought in by the airport team and brought deep expertise in immersive digital experiences. He created impactful content for ATLAS and shared valuable insight throughout the process. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 I am especially excited about the potential of the integrated interactive motion sensors. Testing that system with Dren Robinson showed me how much more ATLAS can become. ATLAS is not just a finished installation. It is a platform for future storytelling, interaction, and immersive media experimentation in one of the most visible public spaces in the world. Projects like this are never the result of one person. Thank you to everyone at Capital Signs, our construction partners, airport stakeholders, marketing team, content creators, and everyone else who helped bring ATLAS to life. I am grateful to have played a part in this project and excited for everything this platform can become. #AtlasatATL

Technologies rarely fail permanently. They pause, then return when the ecosystem is finally ready to support them. VR didn't fail in the 1970s. It waited for lighter hardware, better displays, and a content ecosystem to catch up. The same pattern plays out across nearly every major technology category. For anyone making decisions about digital signage and connected space infrastructure, this is the most useful lens we know: the question isn't usually whether to invest, it's when. In the run up to InfoComm, I’ve been thinking about how AI capability and AI deployability are not the same thing. In public-facing environments, the gap between the two is significant. The most commercially sound AI applications in digital signage right now aren't the flashy ones, they’re the operational ones with real-time capacity updates, traffic-aware alerts and dynamic content driven by external data. Less glamorous, but achievable, measurably useful, and far less likely to damage the trust that takes years to rebuild. We’ve written about this in more detail in our recent whitepaper. I’ll drop a link to it in the comments. I'll be at InfoComm as a guest this week, so drop me a message if you’d like to have a chat about AI in the digital signage world. #infocomm2026
