Thank you for sharing Jasmin, and to all who attended yesterday’s AGM. This AGM marked the retirement of Katharine Leaman as Vice President and Company Director after five years of dedicated service. Katharine played a central role in reshaping our Constitution, guiding the incorporation of ACI UK and helping secure HMRC approval for tax-deductible membership subscriptions. More importantly, her unwavering support, calm judgement, level-headedness, positivity and sense of fun have left an enduring mark on the Association. This AGM also saw the retirement of Steve Singer as Treasurer after more than twenty years of service. Steve has been the steady hand behind the scenes, supporting successive Presidents and Executive Committees whilst ensuring the Association remained financially sound. His commitment, professionalism and stewardship have left ACI UK in a far stronger position than he found it. As a consequence, we voted in two new officers, I am delighted to welcome Kim Myers as our new Vice President and Shivani Parmer as new Treasurer. Both have already demonstrated tremendous commitment to ACI UK, and I look forward to working closely with them as officers of the Association. I too have been re-appointed for another three-year term to see through the transformation that we are undertaking at the ACI UK. I would like to thank our members, volunteers, committee members, sponsors, partners and supporters. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected and more forward-looking ACI UK. It was a pleasure to attend the ACI UK Annual General Meeting in London yesterday and to reconnect with my fellow Executive Committee colleagues and ACI UK members. It was also a pleasure to welcome several new faces to the association. Some of the highlights for me included the update from our Next Gen Committee, which reflected the strong momentum and impressive progress the initiative has made, having the opportunity to present an update on our SPARK Mentoring Programme, and, of course, the exciting details revealed about the ACI World Congress 2027, which will be hosted in London.
